That's what happens when you have the literally weakest majority possible"Sinema agrees". I absolutely hate how much decision-making power flows through such a small number of people, and quite often down to just two total from the Democrats.
Well yeah. And I hate it hahaThat's what happens when you have the literally weakest majority possible
It's never ova til it's ova. This isI've been upset about this all day, so uh, glad not to be worrying about this anymore.
That's what happens when you don't actually have a majority, you have a 50:50 tie BUT you win the tiebreaker"Sinema agrees". I absolutely hate how much decision-making power flows through such a small number of people, and quite often down to just two total from the Democrats.
Fucking ridiculous what we had to give up, but if that's what it takes for the rest of the good this bill will do then that's how it is
Yes the Parliamentarian.I swear following this thing is gonna give me a fucking stroke.
Feel like someone is gonna jump up and say "And now all Dems have to do is slay the mythical wyvern of the Senate, something that must be done every 200 years before a reconciliation bill can be past."
Sinema has been very vocal about taxing the rich and corporations because she's terrible.maybe sinema just wanted her own "touch" on the bill similarly to manchin

Not too terrible asked in all honesty.
Man, do I hate the Senate. Freaking king and queen Senators with slim margins like this.
She would look like a real shitheel after asking for that drought money to do tahtFingers crossed there's no surprise curtsy and thumbs down on the horizon
Yeah, but gas prices are still a little high so he's actually shit and basically the worst President ever! /sIf this passes, Biden will have one of the most impactful and successful first terms let alone first two years of any President in decades.
While I get what you're saying; the senate is pretty much broken with the way it works along with abuse of the filibuster. A majority wouldn't fix the problems and we're probably never going to see a 60 senator majority from either party ever again. You hate the Senate when it's 50-50 and needs a VPOTUS tiebreak.
If Democrats could actually get people to vote for them en masse properly, the Senate is fine when a side actually has a majority.
