The only game you'll see him distance himself from is Battleborn
which is unfortunate since they're giving an abusive, probable pedophile, tons of their money.99% of people buying Borderlands 3 will have no idea about the Pitchford allegations, or who the fuck Randy Pitchford is in general
You know this for a fact? How?
There is a rumor that he was caught with underage pornography but has not been confirmed as of this time.
While it remains unproven, I wouldn't call it a rumor. It's the company's former lawyer suing them and that is one of the allegations in the suit.
Idk I was talking to a co-worker that brings her daughter to pax East every year for the gear box stuff and it reminded me that people really don't care about that shit. Sure here people do but that's because of what this forum is suppose to represent.
If you don't care about his drama you got a guy who is really enthusiastic about his studio/game and dev team. Also really cheesy magic tricks.
Yeah if I was accused of that shit I'd sue whoever made that accusation. As far as I know he is not counter suing. While it remains unproven, I wouldn't call it a rumor. It's the company's former lawyer suing them and that is one of the allegations in the suit.
Yikes. The USB thing is an omega level accusation to be throwing around without additional information.

you didn't look very hard because the first sentence of the kotaku article says they are suing each other
this99% of people buying Borderlands 3 will have no idea about the Pitchford allegations, or who the fuck Randy Pitchford is in general
You're right. I didn't. That's the problem with these types of allegations. Ppl just assume they're trueyou didn't look very hard because the first sentence of the kotaku article says they are suing each other, so mud slinging is very much expected imo
Edit: is the childporn confirmed? I'm guessing not because he would have been investigated by now and or arrested?
The claim didn't state he had child pornography it said "underage" and the underage was indeed in quotations. It was what is called barely legal porn (according to Pitchford). So if you are going to include it in the op, you should probably also word it as "underage" pornography rather than child pornography since that was the claim.Holy shit.
When I made this thread I didn't even know about him owning child pornography. WTF dude. *updates OP*
99% of the remaining 1% also aren't gonna care if he lied or said something mean to Jim Sterling99% of people buying Borderlands 3 will have no idea about the Pitchford allegations, or who the fuck Randy Pitchford is in general
I mean, he's not wrong."We should've brought our own equipment...No, no, it's just this 4K footage is hard to handle."
- Randy Pitchford on why there was so much lag today.
He won the name Borderlands 3 in the poker game this screenshot is from.
What the hell are you talking about? Underage porn IS child porn. "Barely legal" is 18 year olds, so not underage. The claim didn't state he had child pornography it said "underage" and the underage was indeed in quotations. So if you are going to include it in the op, you should probably also word it as "underage" pornography rather than child pornography since that was the claim.
Edit: Here's the document where you can see how it was worded.

I'm talking about how "underage" isn't the same as underage. You know with quotations as you can see in the claim, I linked it exactly so there wouldn't be confusion. Underage is a child, but "underage" isn't the same as underage. What the hell are you talking about? Underage porn IS child porn. "Barely legal" is 18 year olds, so not underage.
Exactly. Also the wording of "Upon information and belief..." is legalese for "I heard from someone that..."
It's literally hearsay being thrown into the suit because you're protected from libel accusations in such a brief, and the hope is that you'll make the person you're suing look like a bad person, even though you won't be called on to prove any of the claims there. By all firsthand accounts (including Randy's) the porn was an 18 year old camgirl. It's creepy, and it's super weird that it was on the same drive as confidential business-related documents, but throwing "pedo" around is pretty stupid here.
there's a lot of Moxxi SFMs out thereNo because I want to see him tweeting about 'reports' of a subreddit for rule 34 with Borderlands 3 characters.
