Hell, an argument can be made that D2's current Eververse setup is TOO friendly on the side of gamers (but don't tell Bungie that lol)
I really don't know what you're trying to say.
Ehh, both the Warframe and PoE communites are exactly the same, the two most used words on the Warframe forum are "content" and "drought".The Destiny community wants a million different things. The hope/expectation is that every piece of content drop addresses some of these issues. A large portion of the community, myself included, has been complaining about the state of PvP. Others want matchmaking in all activities or want for strikes to matter again. No amount of content drops will ever satiate the community. That was my point by linking to r/destinythegame. The first page alone does a great job of illustrating this point.
I don't believe that Warframe or Path of Exile face the same pressures.

I can't see why Destiny couldn't work as a F2P game, but I get the feeling that most AAA companies shy away from it because F2P is still seen as a step down from premium releases (which is rubbish)
Cosmetics?I am not sure how Destiny goes F2P. What are they getting me to pay for? What is their mtx hook?
The game is already littered with microtransactions. How? Microtransactions, sub or paid DLC. Something must pay for future updated in GaaS.
No, but I am not opposed to paying for content. You'd rather lock content forever behind a paywall than for just a week?
You wouldn't think so in these parts because Warframe is held up as a paragon of righteousness and all the communities are happy and holding hands and DE is perfect.Ehh, both the Warframe and PoE communites are exactly the same, the two most used words on the Warframe forum are "content" and "drought".

Because f2p worked for Warframe doesn't mean it will work Destiny.
Going F2P is a massive gamble for a AAA production like Destiny, it could happen, so who knows.
What?!Keep the model but do more aggressive sales. Still waiting to buy the first Destiny.
I waited until the game was complete, then waited for a good sale. It never came.
Yet, this is exactly what they're doing now with Annual Pass and it's working.
Forsaken was done by Bungie, Raids and all with help on Tangled Shore from VV. Scott Taylor and Steve Cotton ran the Forsaken show.I disagree. Part of my point is that had high moon not done foresaken, would bungie of even had the time to give players exciting x amount of y with z forge bounties to complete in existing content youve done a hundred times every week?
What price per month would you pay that would justify the BA content you've seen so far?
They are no where near alike gameplay wise.Neither.
They need to follow Warframe and/or Path of Exile's model with the next iteration of Destiny.
This is true, but without the pressures of an Activision schedule I can see a more streamlined and clear approach. They need to make it more simple imo. When a big expansion releases its always confusing what to upgrade and what is the complete stuff. Even more for new players.
And now they added also that annual pass.
