Of course Kavanaugh is going to come in angry and self-righteous. It's the most honest he and the GOP can possibly be. He's never shown one iota of remorse, self-reflection, or sympathy for any of his accusers' trauma, and neither has the GOP. This is an us vs them tribal conflict in their eyes and nothing more, and every action they've taken so far reflects this. They're all too happy to show us who they are. Why stop now?
