I guess it means the same thing as "patriotic movies", mostly WW2 related stuff if I had to guess, basically Russian CoD.
On paper, yes. In a pratical way, means propaganda. Pro Russia and anti-West.
I mean, WW2 set CoDs and MoH are very much in line with old school war films that portray WW2 soldiers as heroes who defeated evil and I don't expect games like that to be much different in that regard tbh.
So basically what West is doing for past 20+ years just in reverse XD
In some terms, yes. But try to image a game against LGBTQ+ community : ) The fear is real.
I don't think they will sink this low lol. Killing CIA operatives in Afghanistan wouldn't be shocking tho.

So yes, it makes perfect sense.
They want to encourage people to buy games made in and by Russia, so they raise the prices on everything else? Instead of lowering taxes on Russian made games or subsidising them they do this? Doesn't seem like a good deal for Russian consumers.
So basically what the West is doing.
It's Russian government, they firmly believe that population exists to serve them, not the other way around lol.
The headline worded pretty strongly, seems like they're actually against additional taxes on international digital markets.
That's enough about the USA, this thread is about Russian taxes.
