I liiiterally just started GR2 last night (shame on me for not playing it sooner; I adore 1—getting into 2 and it's so good to be back. The short animation was fun too) and then saw this thread like wut? Should I wait? Apparently not, and also hell no, I'm already in love again.
I shall continue holding the torch, while playing this beautiful game 🫡
This is going to be the Sony equivalent of "Wind Waker and Twilight Princess HD are totally getting a Switch release any day now" isn't it?
The Gravity Rush 2 remake feels like a shakier rumor, the Zelda ports are a given that Nintendo is just sitting on because they realized they could coast on the Switch 1 printing money without doing much for another year.
The movie is the main reason I think there's a decent chance of it being real. Well and that Sony will run out of games to port to PC if they're only sticking to new stuff, so they'll be forced to dig a bit deeper in the backlog.

And yet that rumour has persisted for multiple years without anything to show for it. I guess we just have to hope Nintendo has a shitty year eventually before we get to see them.
I do agree that Gravity Rush 2 is an even shakier rumour, of course.
if this ever happens, I promise I will play this game because holy shit the run up to it existing has been a humdinger
We already know Nintendo has no qualms about sitting on finished stuff for a long time. (see Metroid Prime etc)
Also, not to be mean but the shitty year kinda seems to be... this year. in the sense that they'll most likely (mostly) realy on whatever ports/remakes they can to fill the rest of the year. With a smaller release or two and maybe Prime 4.

Not sure why I'm laughing (as I'm a big Gravity Rush fan) but Kat can't seem to catch a break. From people at a Sony show not "knowing who she is" to this. If nothing happens soon then I'm just gonna assume its never happening, a movie is actually confirmed right?
Yeah, but it could always be cancelled just like that Sly Cooper one was, tbh.
