It's just a video with text saying "A new RPG Maker coming soon"
Sorry, I'm on mobile
Oh, gotcha, thanksNothing to screenshot really, the trailer is literally just text saying 'Announcing a new RPG Maker' followed by the Kadokawa logo.
slight offtopic i'm guessing the
RPG Maker MV ps4/switch game is canned for the west?
MV is still coming to Switch and PS4 so I'd imagine it'll be a while but probably those two.If this gets a port, I wonder if they'll do Xbox. They almost did last time and then cancelled it for whatever reason.
I just looked on Amazon, and it has a release date of June 30th, a Tuesday. I thought it already released, but I'm not up to speed on the console versions. Well, I'm not really up to speed on the Steam version, but that's a different story. ha

I automatically skip anything in my discovery queue that uses RPG Maker.
Even RPG Maker games that don't use the default generic assets/sprites?
Literally the biggest reason I still mainly use XP when I mess around with the program despite owning the newer ones is because I'm still not over that loss.
Part of the problem is that I can't distinguish what is using generic assets compared to custom assets. It looks like a SNES RPG without the nostalgia which is not a selling point for me.
They need to make a 3D RPG Maker already, like the PS1 or early PS2 era style polygonal visual.
I'm waiting on the one for Switch, but hopefully this one get's ported too.
ToraShiro any updates on the PS4/Switch RPG Maker?
Hopefully soon. It's been a long road, and having a pandemic happen when it did brought us no favors.

Cool but that's ages ago. Surely they can build better engine for 3D graphics with today's tech.
Same! That definitely represents a special time from my childhood when the internet was still new and and exciting. Surprisingly it's still around, too.

I just remembered about this old thread from the official RPG Maker forums. There was mention of an isometric view tool in development. But it never happened? Perhaps that's what the new RPG Maker will be about? 🤔
