The Turbocharged and Apex expansion packs show two versions, both listed as free when I select chose a version. But clicking on either does nothing. What should I do about that?

UK Store for the record.

This is giving me serious FOMO. I already have the free PS+ version and the VR version. Ugh, I hate not having the option to get something, but I shouldn't spend $45 on something I realistically probably won't ever play.

There's always a physical version that will continue to work if I somehow change my mind later, right?
For the base game with no expansions, yes.

Went through a search on PSN and luckily I already own everything except DC Bikes. Almost had a mini heart attack lol

By the way, if you have or ever plan on having PS VR, it might be a good idea to "purchase" the free PS VR Demo collection before Driveclub goes away. Since Driveclub VR is one of the demos featured, there's a chance they'll remove the entire thing as well.

That's a good point, it probably will be delisted as well. This is the same demo collection that has the Kitchen demo for Resident Evil 7, so I'm gonna grab it just to make sure I never miss out on it when I finally get a PS VR. Thanks for mentioning it.

Does anyone know if the DLC purchased works on DCVR or do you have to purchase the actual DC game to get access to it? It's $20 for the game and another $12 for the Season Pass. Plus I don't even know how much the bike pass is either jeez.

I managed to pick up a physical copy of the base game for like $10 a few months ago.

Does that include all of the car-related content? Probably wouldn't bother with the VR or Bike expansions. Edit: Wait, there's a season pass? I was looking on the Australian store and couldn't even see it there until I specifically put it 'DriveClub season pass'. Weird.

Those Expansion packs were released after the original Season Pass had already finished (Think of them as a separate second season pass) and have to be purchased separately.

Reposting this from the other thread, maybe it can be used for the DLC instead of my previous contribution:

I don't have PSVR, so can someone explain why people need to buy the base game plus season pass plus VR? I assumed the VR version would be the base game with VR support, is that not the case? Do they share the same single trophy list and game saves?

Hmm quick question, does Drive Club Bikes only contain additional bikes and nothing more? I'm not big on bikes in any way so I would probably be fine with just the two "demo" bikes.

That is great info. I always assumed you could only use bikes if you owned the Bikes expansion, which I always thought was over-priced considering I already have all of the tracks from the base game. Grabbing those free bikes now.

EDIT: Just 1 bike, I see now the other is for reaching rank 10 in KTM. I'll have to check on that later.

Is there no option to upgrade the Driveclub Plus Edition anymore? Also, it says I can't buy the bike expansion since I own the Plus Eiditon which is odd sinceI thought the bike expansion was a separate purchase.

Okay, just got all the dlc with the exception of the boosters. So I'm good, it helps that I really enjoyed MSPR. Too bad this game wasn't 60fps tho.

Yeah, it's nice for people who want to try how bikes feel before purchasing the expansion. With that said, there are noteable differences between individual bikes. In the case of these two, i'd say the Aprilia is much easier to handle than the KTM.

I've got a level 35 club, Cthulhu Systems, with one spare place (just kicked a dickhead ex-friend that was still in there). I can't remember how to invite though, if somebody could remind me you can have the place.

Edit: Figured it out (INVITE FRIENDS, doh!) send me your PSN name if you want the place.

It's just Chettlar like here. However, if you can't find me let me know. Idk why but some people can search me just fine and some can't.

This is giving me serious FOMO. I already have the free PS+ version and the VR version. Ugh, I hate not having the option to get something, but I shouldn't spend $45 on something I realistically probably won't ever play.

There's always a physical version that will continue to work if I somehow change my mind later, right?

For the main game yes. For bikes, drive club vr, the season pass, and the paid dlc not included in the season pass no :/

Anyone feeling to do some charity? i need the No Limits expansion pack but can't even YOLO my credit card cause it's expired. FML

Man I wish I could help but I'm also straight broke. If some how you've got anything in your bank account, you can directly hook it up to PayPal I thought.

So... back in 2015 I bought the PS Plus + Season Pass package when it was like $18. My understanding is that was a conversion to the full game from the PS+ version. The Driveclub game is showing as not purchased on my account... anyone else having this issue?

Yes, but the content of the seasonpass is insane!

The reason for my 2nd purchase is:
Sony banned my OG PSN Acc - hacked my PS3 to play Metal Gear Online 2 - so i lost my platinum DC save and can play it offline / singleplayer only.

Because the PS5 will be backwards compatible, i hope we'll get some benefits from the new hardware and play DC in 4k, HDR at 60Hz.

Ok, so if I buy the main game, the VR game, the season pass, the BIKE game, and all of these smaller purchases on this page plus the remaining two pages (pic below) then that should bar everything?

Buy the game and season pass before you buy DLC, since the season pass will make most of it become free.
Gotcha, thanks! I had this game at launch as a physical copy and absolutely loved it and was floored when support dropped. Will grab the Season Pass and then see what else it left to pick up on the US Playstation Store. Hoping just some $1.99 stragglers will be left.

Those Expansion packs were released after the original Season Pass had already finished (Think of them as a separate second season pass) and have to be purchased separately.

Like you can see on my picture i didn't buy this expansion packs, but i can play all of them in the tour-mode... :/

You will also need to manually search for a couple expansions mentioned in the OP. For whatever reason, they don't show up unless you manually search for them. And yes as the other person said, buy the season pass before you buy anything else. Then buy everything that's listed, including free items. You need to claim them while they're still on the store.

Can't sadly, already tried that but since the card it's expired paypal disabled it from my account. RIP

I was under the impression you could pay from a bank account without a card. But idk.

I've sent an invite to the only Chettlar that popped up, so hopefully that's you!

That's me! Thank you!

Driveclub VR is a completely separate game. No idea why, but it has it's own trophy list. Thankfully it's only got like one online trophy too.

That's a good point, it probably will be delisted as well. This is the same demo collection that has the Kitchen demo for Resident Evil 7, so I'm gonna grab it just to make sure I never miss out on it when I finally get a PS VR. Thanks for mentioning it.

Here's the US link for those who want it: https://store.playstation.com/en-us/product/UP9000-CUSA04579_00-PSVRDEMODISC0001

None of the free stuff will download on the PS Store. Screen flickers or goes blank very briefly and then it goes right back to the overview.

Tried a different browser? I'd hesitate to say phone because man PS store is a miserable experience on phone.

Or are you or have you tried a PS4 itself?

EDIT: oh I think I remember this. I think this means you've claimed it and it works. It's more clear on a browser I believe. I think you can check your downloaded content and see it?

EDIT2: Yeah looking it up on the PS store it says they are purchased for me.

Yeah, you already have it all downloaded regardless if you bought it or not. What you buy is just unlock keys that will get checked once you boot the game up.

That makes sense yeah.

So if you have doubts just check it on the PS store. Driveclub itself says "Download" Whereas a given expansion simply says Purchased. This makes sense since its an online game. You're just claiming it for yourself to actually be able to use.

Yeah, most games work like this when online focused, especially with multiplayer, you just push out one data-pack for everyone.
