I didn't think I was ready for a TNG reboot for another ten years or so, but Sephzilla's list is damned convincing.

I always thought Jon Hamm would make a good Star Trek villian-of-the-week, but I can see him as Ruler too.

Wow @ these two choices.

Riker was always such a dork, so having Jon Hamm finally bring some coolness and class to the character would be amazing.

Also, Millie is probably the most inspired choice I've seen in these kinds of threads. Gets rid of the terrible Wil Wheaton memories and reminds me of the genius casting of Katee Sackhoff as Starbuck.

Yeah, the honor stuff is used way too much. But Ezri does point out the giant hypocrisy of Worfs species when she says for all their talk of honor, they're willing to accept corruption at the highest levels.

French was a mostly dead language in TNG if I remember right. People still had names, but wouldn't have a modern French accent.
