I actually quite enjoyed this. Though overlong it absolutely is. Reading a few reviews after watching it I think too many people took it far too seriously rather than being nothing more than a pastiche of pulpy B movie fiction that focuses entirely on the oddities in the LA movie that wears its influences on its sleeve.
