Nah, all it'll do is give you a shaky background to the setting. Probably served better reading a plot synopsis since there's some major differences with the 2016 game.Guys should I bother playing the 2016 PS4 game or nah?
Also I have the PS3 (ps2 remasters) collection but I didn't get a chance to play them ahead of time.
I guess I'll play Rift Apart and then later play the whole series. I wonder if it's gonna mess up their stories and such.
edit: What I will say is that the 2016 game is great as a standalone adventure and I can't fault it as a game or even the story that much. It's just very much a different story to the original continuity.
