EDIT: That said, if you have everything up to year 3, you can also easily afford to just unlock the ops with renown. 25000 is not very much at a time, as long as you play the game reasonably often. The real issue is the mountain of unlocking the previous 16 DLC ops if you don't buy it. I play a good amount of siege and make ~100k renown a month, but if you're doing the weeklies you can probably make 40 thousand in 25% as much playtime as I put in since those are a big chunk of it. That's more than enough to keep up wiht releases. You only need 16.7k renown per month to buy all the ops as they release, which is a SUPER low playtime requirement.

I need to remind myself to stay away from Ranked on free weekends. Went form Gold 2 to Copper 1 because every single ranked match I have had, 2 people on my team DC after the first round.
Should have waited with buying then, oh well. At least there is a bigger carrot to hunt for now.
It is a combo of both actually. Some people were getting genuine DC issues and did their best to reconnect in time. However, a good chunk were new players "meming" it up and leaving if their dumb strats failed the first round. For example, in the last game I played, two people DCed after getting smashed in the first round. 3rd player TKed our 4th at spawn and attempted to TK me. When he failed, he yelled "YOU LIL N****!" and left. This was round two lmao. These issues generally only arise for me during Free Weekends. I can deal with the toxicity no problem but it is a pain in the ass to rank up again. Changes to ammo update timings
When you reload your weapon there is always a point in the animation where your ammo count updates. We have overhauled the "key" moment where it happens during the animation. All weapons ammo updates are now slightly faster. They have been rationalized according to their animation. This should make reloading a lot more comfortable.
Interrupting tactical reload with going to ADS
You can now interrupt a tactical reload (reloading with a round in still in the chamber) with aiming down the sights. Before you could only do it with sprint, but now if you are reloading and someone surprises you and you want to shoot, all you have to do is go to ADS and fire instantly with your remaining ammunition.
Reload resume points
Missing reload resume points have been added to all weapons reloads. When you interrupt a full reload, if you have done certain steps (ie. Discarding the empty magazine) you won't do that step again when resuming the reload animation.

You should carry 3 mags and if you reload with half a clip left those bullets are either lost or you need to hold a button to simulate taking those bullets out and putting them into another mag.

I don't know that you need a ton of redundancies, because they affect both teams equally and reward those who can be creative outside of their comfort zone. For instance a twitch drone can basically do what a thatcher can, it's just not as simple.On picks and bans, lots of games do it (like League of Legends) and it works really well but they also have lots of champions and role redundancies. A thatcher or mira ban will radically change the match while a Varus or Zoe ban won't.

I am the opposite, I can't find a ATKer that I enjoy playing. I bounce between Sledge, Zofia, and Doki at the moment. Lot's of variety with defenders for me though.I have this issue with picking a defender I really enjoy, unlike attackers where I have 3-4 I really enjoy. Ela losing impacts on top of gun nerfs puts me back to really just playing Caveira again...

For offense I like Dokk, Hibana, and Buck.
