Good. I've been abit salty when sony bought up heavy rain when it was previously a multiplatform title when announced and then later Cage games being exclusive. Always wanted to play them on my PC.
The only thing shameful is people trying to defend a person as racist and misogynistic as David Cage or thinking the writing in his games is good.
Huh. Fair enough. Maybe Sony cut them loose and could use the money they would otherwise use to fund the next QD game on making something that isn't mediocre.
But it was never prooven.was it ? We can't also destroy people life due to allegations.
Once it is prooven ,then u r correct we should not support such people .
The writing in his games is amazing to me .I enjoy it very much though .
I'm going by his own games not the studio stuff.
This is a man who fetishized the home invasion, beating, sexual assault, and violation of a woman in Heavy Rain. In Indigo Prophecy, the female lead becomes submissive and weak when she meets the male lead. In Omikron, a characters wife is tricked into being a sex object for the player. In Omikron and Indigo Prophecy Asian characters are given voices I can only described as 'buck-toothed'. In Beyond Two Souls, the Native American family are wise sages in tune with nature. In Heavy Rain, the only black character is a thuggish ex con who attacks the white cop.
I think it makes sense for them, right now to branch out.

There was a chap working to create an engine port of Heavy Rain a few years ago, but he got a takedown request from QD that he complied with.
The games they make are quite pretty, given the PS4's underwhelming hardware these days, it's really quite interesting how they pull it off.
This makes me quite curious what a QD game could look like with a 1080ti pushing everything to the max lol. Also I would hope that by the time QD's next big title is ready to roll around, DX12 should be quite a bit more mainstream? I would like that. Shadow of the Tomb Raider's DX12 implementation is nothing short of amazing, and if other studios can spare a similar effort to make that API shine than PC Gamers will be in for a great time.

I don't know man .it seems u hate the guy and whatever he does bothers u (the worst character in heavy rain was a white male but u chose to not see that ).which is fine u r entitled to your feeling toward his stories.but these are all stories (not based on reality)and we have exactly the same in movie industry .
Anyways I like his games.its like a very entertaining experience for me and my gf.its the only kind of game that my GF doesn't mind to sit and watch me play and ask me not to play it on my own .that's the only reason I enjoy his games . Brings me and my partner together over my gaming hobby

You should probably do some research, as they have lost every case against them so far. So yes, it's been proven.
the fact that they were able to successfully sweep all those allegations under the rug and launch detroit without any backlash is both amazing and sad.
I think you're confusing dev kits with actual PC development, and this info suggests the latter. This is what you'd see during prep for work on a PC title. Dev kits are basically PCs, but this knowledge base wouldn't make sense for that.

Seriously, which editor would give them so much money for a AAA game? I see frankly

I don't think a QD game (which is a niche) having a huge success with the Xbox playerbase...
I also don't see QD starting to do smaller games for fun.
If they can continue their collaboration with Sony (the only real question is: does Sony want it), they'll probably do it.

Not to be disrespectful, but the ways you're responding to criticisms of the writing is simplistic enough that it's hard to even follow. An antagonist being white or the story being fiction just don't follow as counterpoints to the criticisms against some parts of these games.

More on-topic though, early groundwork like this doesn't necessarily mean "the next big thing" from QD will be a PC title, just that they're prepping so they're capable of a wider release. That makes perfect sense when an exclusivity window has just run out, and that may even be a request from another publisher in connection with their backing.

??? There is no where suggesting it is coming to Xbox .it's about updating their 3d engine on PC .how did you get Xbox out of that ?

There are indications that the next Quantic Dream game will arrive on Xbox
And their source for that article is era .so it's all very vague guess work .

I haven't played Omikron so I can't speak to that, but the rest of your points here are pretty misleading if not outright disingenuous.
In Beyond, supernatural phenomena is real, and thus Native American legends have significant truths in them rather than being primitive superstitions. I admit I don't remember 100% how the native family lived, but they were hardly Amish or something, I'm pretty sure they had a truck. And they were portrayed as the last remnants of a dying community, where most of the tribe had gone off to join the "modern" world, while they stayed to keep the old beliefs alive because if they didn't bad shit would happen. (Which it does.)
The Asian bookstore owner in IP speaks perfect English, he just initially puts on a eccentric old Asian man stereotype to mess with the protagonist.
The gravedigger who tells the story of the twins in Heavy Rain is black (as is one of the generic cop models that shows up in crime scene and the police station.) You're also conveniently ignoring that both Detroit and IP had black protagonists.
Carla becoming "submissive" in IP... I mean, the final parts of IP are rushed, and seemingly cut the story to the bone in order to get to the ending before the budget ran out. So Lucas does end up taking the spotlight in favor of everyone else. But, if you for example fail one of the sequences during the ending, control switches to Carla and you can rush in save Lucas, which doesn't exactly line up with your perception, no?
The home invasion in Heavy Rain being "fetishized", I just plain disagree. It's a bunch of militiamen from her past with knives trying to stab her and slit her throat. It's especially obvious what they're trying to do if you fail the QTEs.
How would their mode work for gamepass? They take years to make games and have never made sequels.
Just like Final Fantasy VII - MS should buy Square-Enix ASAP for Final Fantasy VII. They could even drag it to 10 instead of 3 episodes!
Hopefully this means their titles come out all platforms so everyone can play their next titles.

Maybe start making smaller episodic AA games? QD games are very niche in the video game market. I love them all, but I am aware many are oblivious when it comes to their games. Not only that, they are very expensive to make (time also being the culprit).
Maybe it is time for QD to change directions and look at games like Life is Strange for clues?
Maybe they are doing good and don't need to be acquired or change? Detroit was their best selling game.
I don't see why they must me acquired by someone. MS can fund an exclusive game from them, just like Sony has done.
