It could be anything. They could be going multiplatform for sure. Detroit was their last game under contract with Sony correct? They've developed for other platforms before so this isn't surprising I guess.
LMAAAAAOI don't think I'd ever stop laughing if Microsoft acquired them.
No his games are amazing and I hope Sony pays up . Loved heavy rain and now I m loving Detroit .master class in the genre.
Why
Just no
It literally says "you will participate in the development and optimization of the PC engine of our studio", so of course it requires DX11/12 knowledge. This does not mean their next game is going to be released on PC/XboxOne, though. Most studios (even Sony studios) have PC-version of their engines for quick iteration and tools support...
This position is for their 3d engine .
Unlikely. Why pay MS for the DX license when you can just use Vulkan or make your own API like Sony has always done.
Omikron Remake
You read it here first.
Not saying you should believe, but you read it... u.u
I remember them having a 3 game exclusive contract with Sony or something years back, Detroit was the 3rd one
Allegedly.Makes sense. The current contract with Sony is over, and Sony might take some time to give them a new one considering the shithole the studio is to its employees.
Not allegedly, factually.Allegedly.
They are probably still brainstorming ideas for their next game, no reason Sony can't pick their next project if it looks like a nice fit for them. No matter, after Detroit, I'm pretty excited for their next project.
I just don't understand the hate for the studio.detroit is fucking amazing .and again this is them getting their 3d engine ready for next gen .has nothing to do with a gameAllegedly.

Direct libraries are exclusive to PC and Xbox tho, i don't think PS will ever support Direct, since this is a MS tool.
I was expecting Sony's response to Quantic Dream's issues to be plugging their ears until Detroit was out and then ending their relationship before Quantic got buried in lawsuits and possible mass departures, so I wouldn't be surprised if that relationship is over.
