I would assume so because an auto-refresher on the PS5 page is essentially the most basic version of a bot.
the PS store requires a PS account and you have to enter your card security code or even your payment info if it's not set up. I hope it will bring advantage to those who are prepared and not waiting last minute to get one.

So the site is loading but it's still out of stock. I got a brief message about being in a queue but that also timed out
I've been on the site since the morning, still says OOS. The queue to get in the site has nothing to do with stock BTW.

I think that sony must have something in protection to prepare for basically the equivalent of a ddos by the people logging on.
Sony's store outright says some will be available today, so that's something to hold on to lol.
