PS5 looks SOOO much better in Black

I like the white, actually has a nice contrast to it. I like the black but I think I have enough black electronics already.
I actually don't like its design in black for some reason. There's something about it that looks off to me. It's the same for the DualSense. Normally I prefer black consoles but for whatever reason the PS5's design just doesn't work in black for me.

Anything that lowers the overall tone and makes it less visible is a win TBH. Is any of that sun-absorbing ultragraphite available?
Im surprised nobody has squared the plates and made this thing half normal yet.
Painting the plates is the least creative thing I've seen.
PS5's original model will never not look like ass. Having it in all black just makes it harder to see, which makes it an improvement
I secretly hoped that was the color they were going to go with if it wasn't going to be traditional black.
Still resembles a high end router auditioning for the Jersey Shore reunion show, but is admittedly improved
I got my SX this weekend to go with my PS5. These have to be the two ugliest consoles I have ever seen horizontal. One looks like a shoebox and the other looks like it is about to tip over at all times. I'm so glad they're both beasts because the are definitely not winning any beauty pageants.

And nothing attracts more dust than the glossy black center panel of the base PS5.
What kind of crazy routers do you people own?! I've never seen a router that looks remotely like the PS5 while in a Best Buy or Staples!

I have a Sonos Arc under my LG C9, but I've got my C9 raised a couple inches so none of the screen is covered.
Looks better but it's also a more boring color palette. I'm glad Sony took a risk this time around.
It looks better but I have mine behind my tv so I couldn't care less what it looks like it or what colour it is as I never see it.
I believe the only way to have gotten that bad boy was to be at the 2017 NRA convention in Atlanta.
I think Sony has put a huge emphasis on the colours of the console, and I doubt they'd back down from this identity unless they put the emphasis on a new palette in ads. Basically, white and blue is currently associated with their branding of PS5. Releasing an entirely black console would "confused" its market.
