He look a lot better in motion
No you can't, don't listen to his lies :P
You have to pick one but you can just box the after you catch a Pokemon you actually have your heart set on using.
It's basically like getting the dark ending of Dark Souls, the game makes you think you have to do one of the things in front of you but you can actually embrace anarachy, turn around, and walk out the door.
Hidden Abilities are locked to raids afaik.Just want to clarify something, you can't chain for Hidden Abilities like in Gen 6 and 7?
Man, what the fuck. :\
What time zone are you?Xavi Is it true the games will actually unlock at 11pm instead of midnight???
That animation on toxel is adorable 😂The moment of tragedy :(
19 years waiting for this and that stupid dinosaur killed it :((((
Official art! How could I forget about it...I wonder if they will update the website tomorrow. We need official art of the new mons.
Yeah 11 PM then, it's 12 EST
The servers weren't on for them, so they couldn't test them out. I thought it was bizarre given how much push they got in marketing.I love the online features. Why the hell didn't reviews mention this as much?
Online wasn't available up until launch day for whatever reasonI love the online features. Why the hell didn't reviews mention this as much?
You really don't.
It's gonna be a long wait for tomorrow morning.
Didn't you get the memo? It's a 12-15 hours game according to reddit. So I've played 6 hours and I only just got to Motostoke. Yeah, I don't think I'm finishing this in less than 40.

If you take your time you can easily go past the 20 hour mark if you do some raids and stuff too, it's just the same length as all other Pokemon games. Many people are not rushing and are finishing the game in 15-17 hours.
I'm battling every trainer I can find and I'm moving faster through this game than in any previous Pokemon game I've played.
I'm planning on heading over after work, which will be after midnight. It'll be active then, right?

I guess it depends on the Wal-Mart.I'm planning on heading over after work, which will be after midnight. It'll be active then, right?
Well I called previously and they said I could pick it up. Here's hoping it'll be on sale.

This article describes three journalists playing the game. They all spent > 40 hours playing it before they finished. I'm sure if you're main goal is just to beat the game champ/elite four/etc, and you don't enjoy catching/finding all of the pokemon, it's going to be much shorter.
Poliwag is not in the game as far as I know.Is Poliwag obtainable in the early game? As in around 2 hours in or so? If so where?
yeah, I keep getting the same 3 lol
Same. The game is so good.So I've played 6 hours and I only just got to Motostoke. Yeah, I don't think I'm finishing this in less than 40.
It was 17* and he only caught 31 Pokemon, how is that focused on catching? He also said he avoided the wild area mostly.A poster here beat the game at around 16 hours after battling every trainer and going into every building, only focusing on catching and building up a team of six. That's more or less my playstyle, so I am curious about datapoints for other players of this style. Every other Pokemon game pretty consistently takes me 25-30 hours to reach the credits.
Damn that's so sad. I had hope he was going to be in after I saw the Poliwag shirt. I can't believe they got rid of him.

Edit: seriously should tell the full truth when trying to make a point.
