Mostly just a lot of running preemptively(one or two throws usually) and patience.
Money can be an issue before post-game.
Ok well that kinda makes sense. So is the general rule of thumb to bail after two throws if I'm trying to chain.

I'm having a hard time understanding how you people are getting high chains. I decided tonight to see how high I could chain Eevees and I lost it after about 13, and I had a couple close calls before that where I had to run. I feel like I'd run out of money/balls before I could do anything good.
How do you chain Pokemon that don't spawn that often? Trying to do it with charmander in rock tunnel, but I've only found 2.
Can't you just build up a chain using something super easy like Oddish and then go to wherever you want to chain?
Is 31 also the limit for IV increases when it comes to chaining?
You can do that, but chaining the particular pokemon you want a shiny of will also just cause that pokemon to appear more often. Can't you just build up a chain using something super easy like Oddish and then go to wherever you want to chain?
Chaining has to be done in portable mode, right? I wouldn't mind a shiny or two, but I can't count on throwing the Joy-Con in docked mode.
Hot damn, that's some good money. Thanks!Beating the daily leader refights + E4 should net 150-200k if I'm not mistaken. I haven't tallied it but it's a good bit of cash.
And if you need more in a given day the E4 can be done repeatedly. Netting about 13k per fight.
Not the actual limit but the point where it stops increasing your chances so you might as well just wait around for one to appear.

Does anyone feel like the Go capture system shoved in Kanto didn't fit too well? It's the part I like the most about the game, but I think I'd like it even more if it had an original region planned around the on-world Pokémon instead of retrofitted GB maps.
I saw Red battle today on youtube , the no Original theme battle and his pokemon party are big let down
It's based on his team from the manga, is it not? Same with Blue and Green
They are the stats that are hindered or benefited by the Pokemon's natureWhat are the colors in the Judge function for? I mean those that color the "Speed" or "Attack" texts. I see no correlation to IV, because sometimes it's red with a "good" IV and red with a "Exceptionnal" IV?

Ok so blue +10% and Red -10% ?They are the stats that are hindered or benefited by the Pokemon's nature
You know, it is funny how Red/Blue/Green all have the wrong starter Pokemon for their namesake.
This is exactly how I feel in regards to wild pokemon. They're still wild you just see them and the surprise its still there. The zubats you met in yellow years ago are still there you can just see them to avoid the trouble.
Secondly, I just wish we could battle the pokemon to lower health in order to catch them. The RNG with catching is not for the faint of heart.
I actually think they just didn't go far enough with it. There should be more types of balls and more ways to manipulate the catch rate. When I'm using ultra balls, getting excellent shots and using Gold Razz Berries, it feels futile when they burst out immediately. I've done everything I can to help my odds and the system is still gimping me.Does anyone feel like the Go capture system shoved in Kanto didn't fit too well? Should I just stick with this? Chained him up to 12 and then he ran away.

They made this game for youI've never played a Pokemon game before. And I'm not interested in online. Never played Pokemon Go either.
Should I give it a try? I love RPG games and Nintendo/Pokemon.
Kind of pissed that in LGPyour rival's Eevee can evolve, seems a bit unfair (not in a difficult way just, you know...) also, my rival's eevee evolved into a Jolteon - is this random or does it depend on something? Like for e.g. right now I have nothing in my party week to electricity so seems an odd choice.
