Does Lunatone only spawn at night/early morning? Would make sense I suppose, but I can't be out hunting Lunatone at 2 am when I gotta sleep for work.

Worlds really was insane last yearDuring the World Championships last year. Was a promo they announced during the opening ceremonies. It was pretty nuts. I'd leave the venue and this would be the scene:
I wasn't playing Go at the time but still managed to catch 2 or 3 while waiting in line in Starbucks and seeing people had it spawn nearby lol. Was in Columbus for the NA International Championships last weekend and was able to trade for Heracross, Corsola, and Mr Mime but yeah Relicanth and Tropius are in very short supply. No one had any =[ Hopefully one of those are the spawn for the World Championships in Nashville this year

I don't think it spawns solely at night, maybe it is more common then though. I caught mine at about 8:30 AM.
Pretty sure i've hatched over 30 alolan eggs now and still no Vulpix.
F
I've not heard of a Lunatone raid being a thing.has anyone seen any Lunatone raids? When Solrock was in NA it was in raids, albeit infrequently, are there any Lunatone raids in NA now?

Celebrate Pokémon GO Fest around the World!
Pokémon GO Fest 2018 on July 14 and 15 will be the next stop for fun! Trainers without a ticket to the event won't be able to see any Pokémon or PokéStops in Lincoln Park, but Trapinch, Feebas, and other Pokémon featured in the habitats of Pokémon GO Fest will appear more frequently all over the world during that weekend.
The Cheering Pokémon, Plusle and Minun, will also appear more frequently worldwide as Trainers complete themed Field Research tasks. Catching Plusle and Minun will result in bonus Stardust, and lucky Trainers might even discover their Shiny versions!
The Alolan forms of Diglett and Geodude will be in on the fun, too. Beginning that weekend Alolan Diglett and Alolan Geodude will be appearing globally for the first time in Pokémon GO. Don't miss the chance to encounter the unique forms of these Pokémon.
There will be so much to do on the weekend of Pokémon GO Fest, you won't want to miss it!
Just RNG. Weather boosted wild Pokemon will on avg have better IVs though. So if it's a non-weather boost, it will have worse IVs on avg.I feel like regular wild Pokemons with inferior IV:s has increased a lot.
Umm I️ have to check. My girlfriend planned it. Near the main bar district I'm guessing
Presumably Alola Diglett and Geodude will continue for the foreseeable future just like Rattata. Can anyone clarify the time ranges for Pokemon spawns in the upcoming event?
Here's the excerpt from Niantic's posting here:
So, from what I can tell, Trapinch and Feebas will be spawning a bunch just during that July 14-15 weekend. Alolan Diglett and Geodude will START spawning that weekend, but will continue being available even after that? And what about Shiny Plusle and Minun with stardust bonus? Is that just for the weekend or will it continue on the following week?

I just realized that shiny Pokemon people don't have cost 1,000,000 to trade. Rip my chances of getting a Tropius this weekend.
Minun looks differentI'm going to need to pay close attention when looking for shiny Plusle and Minun since they barely look any different from their regular versions.
Just making sure, but I can't have a friend play on my account this weekend in Chicago to catch Torkoal right? You need to have bought a Go Fest ticket and attached it to your account to get those spawns?
Plusle though...Minun looks different
And yeah, you need a ticket for the spawns at GO Fest

my rule is catch all you can and don't transfer until you go into your pokemon inventory and can verify they don't have the three sparkles next to them. that's what I did/am doing with Roselia, caught so many of them and still never seen the three sparkles next to one.I'm going to need to pay close attention when looking for shiny Plusle and Minun since they barely look any different from their regular versions.

You are given an explicit warning before transferring a shiny (right after the standard warning) and the game literally doesn't let you select a shiny for mass transferring. It shouldn't be possible to transfer one without knowing.my rule is catch all you can and don't transfer until you go into your pokemon inventory and can verify they don't have the three sparkles next to them. that's what I did/am doing with Roselia, caught so many of them and still never seen the three sparkles next to one.
Wait why did Kanga spawn in Anaheim? I've never heard of it spawning in North America at all.
TBH they never put too much of an effort into shinies.
Oh FFS
Haven't they already done exclusive fast moves with one of the community days? I don't really see the big deal, gym system is so braindead that I usually don't even bother with TM's.
I didn't even get it non-shiny, lolHow rare is a Shiny Party Hat Pichu?
Party Hat Pichu is the only Pichu I need to complete my Pichu collection, kind of want to go all in and get a shiny while I'm at it.
Think any of my Non-Community Day Shiny's would be a fair trade? Other than Togepi, I'm willing to trade any of them.
Yeah, but raids are gated by gyms and whether you can find sufficient people to raid with. The mechanics are a bit different than community day, especially if you want to go shiny hunting. There were people in this thread who mentioned during Articuno Day that they either didn't meet up with people (they're not in a raid group) or their town simply doesn't have concentrated gyms, meaning they need to travel more distance instead of casually walking in an area with a lot of spawns.Haven't they already done exclusive fast moves with one of the community days? Mew is there forever, it won't be replacedHey, has there been any indication when the Celebi quest goes live that it would replace the Mew quest or will it have it's own separate tab? Only started the Mew quest two weeks ago when I got back into Pokémon Go and will be another week or so till I complete it? Would hate for my progress to disappear and miss out on Mew.
Ooof, hope someone in my community has a shiny, if not, I'll have to gladly settle for a regular Party Hat.
That's my same team and plan.I definitely need to go hard for Zapdos (Team Instinct!) so hopefully I can get 2 shinies and trade someone for a shiny Articuno
