How does DBCS qualify as "indie" anyway...They aren't. Only Dariusburst is on sale. I knew some shit was funky that EXACTLY the shmups I wanted were on sale, I go to the store and their full price. The lists they put out are always super messy and auto generated, they mean the ***DLC*** for Dariusburst is on sale. Which includes...Battle Garegga and Ketsui.
Anything to know about Disco Elysium on PS5 instead of PC? Looking to pick this game up eventually, but just curious if PC is the way to play this game or not.
I'll probably go for Disco Elysium and The Outer Wilds. How's Outer Wilds on PS4, any improvements through PS5 BC?
Yeah, Disco Elysium always has me very interested and eventually I'm going to pick it up, and The Pathless was great.Disco Elysium and The Pathless at 30% off are both tempting. But Ratchet is only a week away, I'll probably just hold off. Everything else pretty meh.
Disco Elysium is a masterpiece.Axiom Verge
Desperados III
Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom
Owlboy
The Messenger
Outer Wilds
Thimbleweed Park
Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap
Momodora is a pretty great metroidvania.Good price for Hellblade. Hmm.
edit: Any good roguelikes or metroidvanias worth checking out on that list?
Huntdown was one of my favorite games of 2020, so yes it's good.Currently eyeing up:
Huntdown
The Last Campire
Anyone got these? Any good?
It's had a fair few patches since launch.Damn I didn't know about DE on the PS5 being rough. Is it only the PS5? Or is it also bad on PS4?

Ooooooooo $5 for Nex Machina. Was curious about this one because I looooved Returnal...but like how punishing is it?!
Great, thank you! I was reading and some folks made it seem like patches were TBD. Glad that's not so.I can't speak for PS4 but the PS5 version is perfectly fine now. It was rough at launch, but they put out multiple patches a few weeks after it came out.
Just a friendly reminder to anyone who "finished" oxenfree. Keep playing it, it's not done yet 😉👻Cosigned. Started it yesterday and I'm loving it. The art style's really cute and the creepy atmosphere is amazingly executed. So glad I started it in the middle of the night lol.
If you missed Sayonara Wild Hearts in the past, now is as good a time as any to jump in. It is an excellent rhythm game with a fantastic aesthetic, killer soundtrack, and addictive score-based classic arcade style of gameplay. It is absolutely worth a purchase and is, in my opinion, one of the standout games from the last gen.
