Honestly that's what I want. Give me a beefier PS4 with back compat on the level that Xbox has and I'm good. Anything else is what my PC is for and Switch fills that 'interesting' niche
Also, everyone saw what happened with the PS3. Sony lost billions. It was a real-life case study of what NOT to do lol. There's always VR. You can't do unique chips that beat PC's anymore, unless you want console makers to bleed money. There's a reason the PS4 and Switch are massive success stories.
He's not saying streaming is better, he's saying that at least that is something completely new, while on the other hand the two consoles feel another mid-gen upgrade that we conventionally decide to call it next gen.
Where's the innovation?
More power leads to new ideas that couldn't have been done before. He's not saying streaming is better, he's saying that at least that is something completely new, while on the other hand the two consoles feel another mid-gen upgrade that we conventionally decide to call it next gen.

Is he your child or something?Did he make a comment about your children or something?
Jesus Christ, gamers.
2013 Microsoft says nobody wants gimmicks or changing it up at allJesus @ the defensive replies attacking him. Why do we have to react this way?
In any case, he's not wrong. I personally don't mind it so much given it ultimately means we get consoles that tend to be cheaper and more reliable, and that still provide really amazing results. But part of me does miss the days of gen 7, when Nintendo brought on motion controls, and the consoles had crazy proprietary tech.
How does streaming not equal more raw power than a fixed console?
When Platinum games look like PS3/360 games, it's kinda ironic in a way.
Lol its funny because you could says the same about their software output.
Action games with good mechanics and not so good other stuff.
Lots of ruffled feathers in here lol
Hey, Professor Beef's alt!
Ah yeah Kinect 2.0 , what a glorious device that 0 of launch games actually supported. The consumers spoke when Microsoft tried to do new stuff with the Xbox One. They went for the simpler but more powerful and cheaper PS4. Now Microsoft is too scared to make anything more than the most powerful custom PC they can for the price. They won't even touch VR on console.
Congratulations, gamers. You got what you wanted.
(speaking as someone who loved the Kinect 2.0 and the potential it had and now can no longer pretend I'm Tom Cruise in Minority Report because of you..... Grrrrrrr)
