I'm not a big fan of Obvious Plant either. I like absurd humor in general, but their products (mostly the engrish) seem almost racist, in a way. At the very least, unconfortable.
My general sense is that Obvious Plant is anti-corporate in the same way things like Mr. Show or the Kids In The Hall or the Tim and Eric Cinco products are. Highlighting the absurdity of selling a totally false image.
