Hell of a payoff
We want the VR talk!
Time moves more slowly for the young. They have more time to remember things.I completely forgot Campo Santo announced a game years ago
I also completely forgot they were bought by Valve
This must be what getting old feels like
Hello everyone. We know you've all been super patient in here, so we wanted to give you a quick preview of something we've been working on for a long time now (and expect to finish soon):

I am too considerate of your cranium, good sir.
I find Greedfall incredibly dull and lifeless.
I cannot think of a single character that has not been just the most basic RPG-ass character so far.
O_O So good, too bad its so far off from release, probably end of 2020?
One thing that I've had a hard time wrapping my head around is why the press is pushing EGS so hard. I can understand why developers support EGS (bigger cut, maybe better discoverability, less competition against other games on the same storefront), but why do games writers want it to succeed so bad? I don't remember this kind of push with other storefronts when they started out.

Yeah, I am wondering how many PC players there are versus console. The tweet makes it sound like they went from 3 million to 10 million just on PC. But Dauntless got a ton of interest after being released on PS4 and Xbox One.I mean beyond glazing over the fact that dauntless is on the Switch, ps4 and xbox as well and is free to play
You could see anti-EGS comments on Youtube channels with more mainstream appeal like one of the Linus's sub channel. The anti-EGS stance on the actual PC userbase is more far reaching than those journos hoped it to be.
Regarding the EGS backlash, it is true that whenever I look at the replies to tweets, comments under a press article, or comments on Reddit, I often find people whose username I recognize. Sometimes it gets me wondering whether my social media bubble is representative of the general public.
Similarly, on Steam forums of indie games, I often encounter the same enthusiasts. I think most Steam customers do not check the forums.
