Similar to No Mans Sky except with no procedural generation so alot of thought and effort went into areas, from what I've gathered. How can we know if we want to play it if now one can tell us what kind of game it is 🤔
Exploration, puzzle, lunar lander, mystery, first person. To tell you more would ruin one of the best parts of the game, discovery. How can we know if we want to play it if now one can tell us what kind of game it is 🤔
Goddamn it I keep mixing The Outer Worlds and Outer Wilds lol.

Never heard of this. When i read the announcement, i thought it was about The Outer Worlds. I guess it's some kind of exploration/adventure game? Can somebody describe the gameplay genre without spoilers (which seem kind of important judging by this thread) or games that are similar?
edit: my question was already answered in above post while i was typing.
At the very least my game of the year so farThis is a prime candidate to game of the generation for me. Don't miss out on it.
Afterparty is out on the 29th if I recall correctly.
What's the price.. seeing a lot of praise for this. Haven't seen anything yet
No, you might be thinking of Outer WorldsSo I thought I read someone compare this to No Man's Sky but with a crafted world/mystery more akin to Fallout...would that be accurate? If so, I'm in Day 1.
I really think it's best to go in almost completely blind (like I did) but that's easier to do on Gamepass. Had no idea about any of the stuff you said when I started the game.Everyone in here is tiptoeing around the basic premise of the game for some reason even though the devs willingly offer it up on store pages. I guess I'll hide this behind spoilers for those who want to go in REALLY blind, but for the people who just want a basic answer on what it is:
It's about exploring a solar system trapped in a time loop. Every area in the game is on a schedule and undergoes changes through the 22 minute mark, where the sun goes supernova and you go back to the beginning.

I mean, I kind of understand that it can be cool to be taken by surprise when you first start the game, but a good game is not ruined by simply knowing the core premise and gameplay loop before playing. If that DID ruin the experience, it wouldn't be a good game.I really think it's best to go in almost completely blind (like I did) but that's easier to do on Gamepass.
