It feels like an age since this first revealed but god I'm glad we're just days away, I can't wait!
Sorry if this has been asked before but was there any word on a rough game length? I'm wondering how many days / weeks I want to carve out for this beauty.
Blind Forest relied heavily on 2d sprite animations which really added a lot of size, we were able to be a lot more efficient with the new 3d character pipeline. On top of that we have spent a lot of time optimizing the game for streaming so even though we're now running at 4k target we can still fit in a nice package. PC will be about 16 gigs uncompressed though.

I like that one! Wasn't the OT for the original called "Mourning Wood"? Yours would be much more innocent lolAs an aside the OT is sitting in a drive desperate for a better title if folk want to throw anything out there.
Ori and the Will of the Wisps |OT| Give It Your Owl
Hollow Knight is much harder and longer than the original Ori it has a similar achievement. I will never attempt it lol. With the game likely being much longer and bigger? That's not gonna be fun. I'm not even gonna bother with that.

Does the New Zealand time shift work for Game Pass PC users as well, or only Xbox One?
That's probably the the reason it isn't 10GB yet. I would be surprised if the second game isn't larger in file size than the first.
Currently playing for review on X, absolutely incredible so far, blowing my mind to be honest and it's a great challenge on Hard so far.
Depends on your playstyle, really. I just had a good friend of mine complete the game on Hard Mode and telling me that he wished that was default (keep in mind that he's been playing the game for years...), but I think Hard Mode is very, very brutally difficult and people should play Normal Mode for their first playthrough. You take double the damage, Spirit Light costs are 50% more expensive, Escape Sequences are 25% tougher... Ori isn't the kinda game where Hard Mode is really what most gamers should play -> Normal Mode is!I love challenges but I don't want this to be something I am "crawling" through dying a bunch of times to get through each part. Is hard a good challenge that still flows well.

How is the unpacking speed of preloads on the windows store? Are they as terrible as on steam?
There is none. How is the unpacking speed of preloads on the windows store? Are they as terrible as on steam?
Steam is usual abit later. I think Monday.
Tidux rotflTidux posted something on twitter this morning about it not running very well on xbox one s saying it crashes a lot. I hope that the day one patch will alleviate this.
Okay this made me laugh lol.Tidux posted something on twitter this morning about it not running very well on xbox one s saying it crashes a lot. I hope that the day one patch will alleviate this.
Difficult to say nowadays. Both both versions are 60fps. And X is 4k and S is 1080p.
I have experienced 0 crashes total in my 10 hours or so of gameplay. Xbox one x though.Tidux posted something on twitter this morning about it not running very well on xbox one s saying it crashes a lot. I hope that the day one patch will alleviate this.
Now that is funny!!!!Tidux posted something on twitter this morning about it not running very well on xbox one s saying it crashes a lot. I hope that the day one patch will alleviate this.
Personally, I had the same choice and went with 4k hdr. This game is just so beautiful.I think it became available same time as Xbox because I installed it last night.
Do I play this on my 144hz monitor or through my 4K TV at 60fps? Decisions decisions.
What difficulty are you playing on? They added checkpoints in the definitive edition for easy (and maybe normal too, I'm not sure)Also, the tree escape section...not anyway near as bad as people had led me to believe.
I just finished the game. I really, really enjoyed it. Took my time with sidequests and collectibles ( still have some stuff to do).
The game tells me 10h 9m "time alive".
