oh right, i went by memory, don't know why i thought rockband was an EA seriesSlight correction: EA would be bumped down to 4, since they only distributed Rock Band. MTV Games was the publisher.

Honestly, it's one of the easier mistakes to make since EA's logo was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more prominent than the one for MTV Games, and it didn't help that MTV Games was founded and then scrapped inside of the same console generation.oh right, i went by memory, don't know why i thought rockband was an EA series
Thank you. are you talking in terms of units or revenue or both are identical? This is a good question. Was basically 2-4% between 2000-08, since then it's been running 5-8%
yes
Enter The Matrix is certainly something. Is it like the best selling bad game ever in the US MatPiscatella
The top is ranked by dollars. Weren't Nintendo 64 games much more expensive than those on other platforms? $80 dollars or so, if I remember well.
It's impressive, but that point and bundles would explain it.
PS: Sorry if it's been discussed before.
everyone else but you judging by the chart.
People doubting Pokemon Stadium. It's Pokemon in 3D. DO YOU NOT REALIZE HOW CRAZY THAT IS IT'S LIKE THEY'RE REAL
MatPiscatella As a Canadian, I've always wondered if the top selling games are noticeably different in the US and Canada. Do you have any charts or information about that? I remember hearing that Nintendo has always had a larger market share in Canada than in the US for example but I have no idea if that is actually true. Also, would American military games like Call of Duty have the same level of dominance here? Thanks for any info
Huge shock to me. Also, Modern Warfare. I guess it's just a testament to how big Guitar Hero was that year
You can see that America fell out of love with Nintendo in the GC days.
BTW.
To give a quick comparison.
SM64 - 1996 sales = 1.6 million
Call of Duty BO3 - 2015 sales = 9.5 million
I'm hoping to be able to start doing Canadian charts and summaries in the future.
Can't say I understand, like, at all.Nah not at all, much prefer the post-2001 list (like most people, apparently).
It released a couple of weeks before the actual film and included a load of footage from it.
Halo 3 never made the top 3 in 2007? Wtf I thought that game was crazy sales wise in the US or I guess Guitar Hero and Madden just sold crazier numbers that year.
Fascinating. Nintendo dominating the late 90s despite having the less popular console. Then Madden, a quick fling with rhythm games and then Call of Duty. What trend would dethrone CoD? I honestly expected to see much more open world games in the more recent years...
