Now that Tlou2 got delayed will you wait for the ps5 version (or play it via ps5 BC)?

With the Tlou2 release delayed closer to the supposed ps5 launch date, will you wait for the ps5 version/patch or will you still get the ps4 version?

Don't think so. I mean it gets delayed to June at tops, I still think it will come out at around April. That's plenty of time between the release and the potential release for the PS5. Also in my case, I don't think I'll get the PS5 on the release day.

I was always planning to wait for PS5 since it's so close but this makes the decision much easier.

Mind you, I will probably get a PS5 two years after launch like I did with the PS4, I just hope it's not another PS4 scenario where actual good exclusives don't arrive until way later than that.

TBH I don't think there'll be two different versions. Given that the PS5 is based in part on PS4 architecture I think the PS4 version will pop into your PS5 and there'll be some huge patch to download to bring in new textures and take advantage of the more powerful system.

I'm with some of the others here, why release two versions when the PS5 is backwards compatible? They'll probably patch in support for enhancements later. I doubt I'll wait, I'm weak and it looks great as is.

There's no PS5 version. It's a enhanced BC and patch, you won't have to buy the game again.

Also, it could be a 1 month delay, not sure that would make anyone decide to wait till fall 21
