Seems to me like that cash would go a lot further raising his child, but hey, maybe this is nothing money to him?
Big hater energy.Seems to me like that cash would go a lot further raising his child, but hey, maybe this is nothing money to him?
So he's the one that bought that box. I was watching that auction (not for the Pokemon cards, but for some comics) and was astounded that this box went for that price. What's up with "celebs" and Pokemon cards, all of the sudden?
Just this week, one of the Paul brothers was trending cuz he was opening a 200k box of pokemon cards, on stream, or something like that.
Guess streamers/youtubers found their flavour of the month.
I remember the first booster pack I ever got. It had a Charizard in it. I traded it in school for a Raichu. I kicked myself for years.I had a Charizard when I was a kid. It was in the first booster pack I ever bought. But lost all my Pokemon cards when I moved.
...I really hope it wasn't a "shadowless" like this. I assume not, but I'll never know now.
I feel like "anti-suicide" is the wrong wording for it. Should be "suicide prevention advocate".

I don't know if he's donated but he has done a lot to get people talking about suicide which is great.huh... well I hope he's donated at least as much as a pokemon card for charity.
I think its much easier to be anti-suicide if you are rich...He's someone that advocates against suicide, as exemplified in his 2017 smash hit, "1-800-273-8255".

On eBay for a lot of money, sure. What the hell you can still find fresh boxes of first edition Pokemon cards from the late 90s?
let's be friends
None of you had a shadowless first edition. They weren't printed very long and quickly replaced with the shadowed ones we all had. Plus even the people that had them. 99% ended up trashed or in the garbage. Of the ones left, finding a mint one is winning the lotto
Except Logic is actually a decent and talented rapper. Never understood why people have so much stigma for him, guess it's the popular thing to do nowadays.
Weird take. We have numerous example of rich people that have committed suicide, and even if you're rich but not suicidal, it's not like advocating for mental health while wealthy makes you a bad person.
I'm a hockey card collector so I'm not surprised by this. Super rare variant + popular character + attractive card + extremely rare because of its 10 rating is a great recipe for a card to be very expensive. A Connor McDavid rookie patch auto numbered 97 out of 99 (97 is his jersey number which essentially makes this card a 1 of 1) sold for $125k USD recently. I think there was a Zion (NBA) 1 of 1 rookie that sold for $1.8M recently as well. That being said keep in mind there were likely only a handful of collectors in the world who would consider buying that card for that price, likely filthy rich folks.
He's a professional dad now.
Logic is part of that group of semi-conscious rappers that goofs like to hold up as superior to everyone else because of subject matter. People get tired of hearing that, so they trash him. It also doesn't help that he's cringe as fuck and likes to bring up his biracial background a bunch. Released a song called AfricAryaN, which is...not how that works.
He's "fine". Not bad, not great. If you enjoy him feel free, just don't go calling him the greatest ever.

This is a perfect example.
"Logic's not that bad"
"I disagree, don't go calling him the greatest ever!"
Hating on him is so en vogue.
