My new predictions:
March - Animal Crossing (duh)
April - nothing
May - nothing
June - Super Mario 3D World
July - Xenoblade Chronicles DE
August - nothing
September - Metroid 5 (hell yeah)
October - BOTW2
November - Paper Mario (maybe)
December - nothing
January - Pikmin 3+
February - Metroid Prime Trilogy HD (finally)

If Animal Crossing, TMS and Mystery Dungeon are all we get for six months following the release of Pokemon in November, well... fuck. lol

Nintendo will want to aim higher. If you look at software sales targets then Nintendo will aim at over more than 100 million software sales. The list you made won't come anywhere close to that so I think you will have to be a little more optimistic.
I actually forgot the F-ZERO 99 shadowdrop we'll get for the April 9th Direct, which is my new headcanon and I'm sticking to it

No way that Pikmin 3+ is January 2021 since it was already delayed, it will be April or Summer release.

yeah thinking about it a little more it might come out in August or September

I'm almost certain 3D World is our June first half Wii U port though, June has been the month for low-key Mario games the past two years

Would be a rather weak year for them in my eyes. I also doubt they'd want to go without a bigger Nov/Dec game.
If you switch Paper Mario and BotW2, it already looks more likely to me, but still too weak overall.

who knows, but am thinking that June will have multiplayer like game, 2017 - ARMS, 2018 - Aces, 2019 - Mario Maker 2, or maybe 3D World port will have online play. But it would feel weird since January was TMS (Wii U port) then AC and in June after so many months another Wii U port.

Beauty in the eye of the beholder. It would be the strongest of the 4 switch years to me, lol.

ahhhh yeah. hm

it probably doesn't exist tbh and I have no idea when it'll come out if it does
That's still more up in the air. It hasn't actually even been rumored at all or hinted from insiders. Just assumptions from that new years picture.
It´s true that we don´t know of its existence for sure, but if it is a not very big spin-off could release this year too. Why not?

because I had no idea where else it would fit after you made me move Pikmin, hence the lol

I guess it could still be July

edit: but we really don't know anything about it. if it's anything more than a simple upres we can't count on it coming soon with no info

And that is what Emily would call a RPG and Casual exciting year? I don't think so!

I feel numb. Ever since our hunches about an early February Direct were wrong there has been this endless void inside me. It's like I'm incapable of feeling anything.

Not even mad there's still no Direct in sight. Truly emotionless.

My expectations regarding how this year will unfold :

March : Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, Animal Crossing
April : Pikmin 3 DX
May : Xenoblade Chronicles (+TW101 of that counts)
June : Paper Mario, Pokemon Expansion Pack 1
July : Bravely Default 2, Splatoon spin-off
August : Bayonetta 3, Style Savvy
September : 2D Metroid, TWEWY2, NSO eshop game
October : Zelda Breath of the Wild 2, Mario Party 2
November : Super Mario 3D World, Pokemon Expansion Pack 2
December : Nothing

The reason why I put BotW2 in October rather than November is to give enough time for the awards season.
