I was theorizing it'd be two weeks away!
I don't mind that AC is getting a Direct at all, it's a big game and it's not like Nintendo said "we can either have a General Direct or an AC one." It'll come when it's ready.
I've never played an AC game before but this might be a good one to start with.
It will still be Wednesday morning at the latest at least. For a general direct, they wouldn't announce it only 24 hours before.
Whether the general is next week or the first week of march has no impact on if a smash character is in or not.
He already said he was still confident on another direct (general) this month yeah.
Honestly I think we care way more about patterns than Nintendo does. They'll just announce stuff to align with their line up and marketing plans for the year, which we aren't supposed to be privy to.

Zippo has delivered. Whether the direct happens next week or early march, we won't have to wait much longer. Hope the AC direct is good.

Honestly even if the next General happens in the first week of March instead of February, if it at least has a traditional Paper Mario game and a 2D Metroid as promised, that would be a huge boon to Zippo's credibility.

i mean they do their own thing and its the first event of the year of notable size so maybe doing event only directs could be their thing now.
After the lack of announcement earlier today (and even last week), lots of people in the last OT were calling for Zippo's head and that they should be banned for lying/providing false information/being an attention whore.
It also means that two directs this month is still possible.
Because it means he'd be right for a general the week after I guess. That's understandable.
But yeah, everyone said Feb 20th once the embargo date was revealed.
