Switch Firmware 8.2.0 Notes
- Updated "Themes" to include "Basic Cream" colour tone
- General system stability improvements to enhance the user's experience
Now THIS would be a dope December release!
It is from the sounds of it. Nintendo is taking third party very serious. It's all come togetherDon't mean to be dramatic but I think this direct is going to be THE landmark direct that shows 3rd parties finally embracing the Switch on the same level as the Wii and the DS. Developers have had more than enough time to gauge the Switch's popularity and see how everything sells like hotcakes on it. Now we're going to see the fruits of Nintendo's labor.

Yeah I wanted BOTW 2, Mario Odyssey 2, Metroid Prime, SMT V, some brand new franchise announcement, etc but then they would have nothing for the next Directs lol
I'd take 2D Metroid or Star Fox as Mystery Game #4. Probably not happening though.
2D Metroid and Star Fox.... underwhelming?
Hey! Don't forget "Gray" color tone and new Mario Maker profile icons.Switch Firmware 8.2.0 Notes

Super Mario 3d World
Back in February, insiders implied that KH on the Switch was still awhile away. So, last year, we got SE announcing all the Final Fantasy games coming to Switch. What if, tomorrow, they announce Kingdom Hearts: The Story So Far, along with Kingdom Hearts 3, and top it off with Sora in Smash? That would be pretty insane.

Sure, but even though the FF titles were announced in September, they didnt launch until April and May of this year. KH could be next year, but announced now.Back in February, insiders implied that KH on the Switch was still awhile away.
Only if the trailer has some hipster in a colorful living room playing Mask Off.
No eShop exclusive or NSO game, but those are hard to predict
This is so accurate it hurts... especially the worst case part. LOL Would love just a *glimpse* of the direction they're going with gameplay-wise.I feel like they'll mention BotW2 in some way -
best case a brief teaser
worst case "we know you're all looking forward to the sequel to breath of the wild....and we're all working very hard to make it the best it can be. But for now we'd like to ask that you wait a little longer." etc.
You're goddamn right we do
And it's still somehow the best home console Mario Party since the GameCube.Super Mario Party felt like a EA game that was gutted for a $40 season pass amount of DLC that never came.
Its kind of amazing how anemic that game is
omg id be so happy
Why didn't you read the rest of the description?Super Mario 3d World
Super Mario Party 2 would go over pretty poorly considering SMP was sent out to die and had fuck all post launch support
Not enough 3rd party stuff
Please. The game actually has a lot of content.Super Mario Party felt like a EA game that was gutted for a $40 season pass amount of DLC that never came.

I think most people love it. Got it for my sister and she played more than 30 hours of it without me and loves the game. And it's still somehow the best home console Mario Party since the GameCube.
