Nintendo AAA Tities : what comes next?

They and Reggie teased a new game tho. Plus they couldn't work on MP4 back in 2017, but now they can. Also Nintendo wouldn't give to them the reboot of a game that wasn't good enough if they had 2 games cancelled in a row (1 game cancelled according to J. Schreier, probably around 2015/16), especially with how Nintendo announced the reboot "the dev team couldn't succeed to create a game as good as the first three MP... Don't worry, Retro Studios will succeed"
If they had started working on this new game in 2016/early 2017, it's obvious why we haven't seen it yet.

So how come they can work on mp4 now? They have another game basically finished?

Also giving them a game they have successfully made 3 titles in is different as they have proved they can do it and it also sounds reassuring to fans to know the guys who made the game they loved are back in the saddle.

Mind you we are all just working on guesswork really. They could well have another game reasy to go.
