Replace Navi with GCN lol TF
Now that's good. That's damn good.
Replace Navi with GCN lol TF
We get the breakdown sure, but i'm sure how the new consoles perform and the ins and outs from developers starts to be much clearer after launch.Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't we get it after the reveals? 6 months before release?
Are you French?I have no clue.....I just want to be your IV!!!! Whahaha i just thought it sounded nice and we could be like this set of adventurers.
Ohhh cool. No clue what it could be and I'm to tired to think about...... So next time when we will dance!
Not that this means much, but some twitter insiders seem to be teasing that tomorrow there's a big announcement imminent. Speculation says it's an announcement of the PS5 unveiling.
Team February rise up.
And who are these "insiders"? You better not come up with names like Tidux and FoxyGamesUK.Not that this means much, but some twitter insiders seem to be teasing that tomorrow there's a big announcement imminent. Speculation says it's an announcement of the PS5 unveiling.

I use the term "insider" loosely. The only one who's close to knowing stuff imo is Liam Robertson.And who are these "insiders"? You better not come up with names like Tidux and FoxyGamesUK.

Yeah Liam is more Nintendo. Maybe he's teasing a Nintendo Direct lol?Okay interesting, a couple of things:
1. Why is there more whitespace on Twitter than a 1996 geocities site? Always reminded why I never go on there, the design is awful.
2. More importantly, it seems like Liam is more into Nintendo products, is that a correct assumption?
That would suck so much. I kinda want to know more about both systems and what there visions are.We get the breakdown sure, but i'm sure how the new consoles perform and the ins and outs from developers starts to be much clearer after launch.
No....I'm 2 countries away (to the right).
Is that based on something else than "because you know, the 2013's PS Meeting was announced on January 31th and tomorrow is January 31st so..." ?

No idea where that is, mystery companion, but we shall venture further into PS5 Feb than any before us have done.That would suck so much. I kinda want to know more about both systems and what there visions are.

I don't know that guy, but there is little doubt a Nintendo Direct will be announced very soon. Most Nintendo insiders began to tease today. But it usually happen on tuesday/thursday.
"The power of the new consoles is gonna be substantially greater than existing consoles," said EA CFO Blake Jorgensen during the call. "We can do a lot more [with PS5 and Xbox Series X]. Things we're doing will blow people's minds."
Jorgensen also said there's going to be so much "innovation" not just from EA but from the whole industry. Not only with more sophisticated games but even the creation of new genres.
Oh you'll get a presentation for each device, and then they'll release specs via a press release. Like this: https://www.sie.com/en/corporate/release/2013/130221a.htmlThat would suck so much. I kinda want to know more about both systems and what there visions are.
Wait, so if I understand, you mean that this is the tease ?

I don't even know who is this guy...
And this tweet just seems to be about everything else than PlayStation...
And juste 1 tweet from 1 guy ?
Era... You can do better !

Oh man slackYou've got to wonder how many people at Sony are reading this crazy thread and laughing, posting screenshots in Slack making fun of this. I know I would.
But not the package. That's different.
Hahahaha your derp is strong! To be precise, The hague.No idea where that is, mystery companion, but we shall venture further into PS5 Feb than any before us have done.
edit: my apologies, my derp is strong tonight, I see the Netherlands.
Ahh ok but i also want to know developers vision and how they will take advantage off it. Like last time.Oh you'll get a presentation for each device, and then they'll release specs via a press release. Like this: https://www.sie.com/en/corporate/release/2013/130221a.html
it's bad math.Lucky for you guys I already did the math in a previous OT.
2x GameCube = 1 Wii
2x Wii = 1 Wii U
2x Wii U = 1 PS4
2x PS4 = 1 PS4 Pro
3x PS4 Pro = 1 Series X
1 Series X = 48 GameCubes
It's math.
New genres you say?EA on next gen consoles:

There's a difference between choosing an optimal launch frame and launching as fast as possible after a tape out. PC GPUs can usually launch in six months after tape out, NV's GPUs can usually do this even faster as they haven't done a single respin for several years now.PC GPUs get taped-out a long time before release, for instance the Pascal 1000 series was tapped-out 11 months before the first Pascal GPU was released.
They don't. The process here is fairly similar to a PC GPU launch since it's also not just a chip but a system board, memory and stuff.Consoles need even more time than that, they go into mass production in ~4 months if they intend to launch in November.
Don't get me wrong but I'm inclined to disagree with almost everything he said. The devil is in the details and the meaning of words can be totally different despite them being the same.@Albert Penello had already said that both consoles won't get any changes done to their silicon a year from launch.
It's possible that it happened before, I'm just saying that it couldn't have happened after.It's probable that during 2019 all that was done on both APUs was tests, bug fixes, tweaks, etc. If at some point MS or Sony had upgraded their APU massively (and going from 36CU to 50+ is a massive change), it had probably happened before 2019.
it's bad math.
gamecube was 9.4 gflops.
xbox series x is 12,000 gflops.
12,000/9.4 = 1,276 Gamecubes
Wii = 12 GLOPS / 9.4 = 1.28 Gamecube
Wii U = 352 GFLOPS / 9.4 = 37.44 gamecubes
Xbox 360 = 240 GFLOPS / 9.4 = 25.53 gamecubes
Xbox One = 1,310 GFLOPS / 9.4 = 139.37 Gamecubes
xbox one x = 6,000 gflops / 9.4 = 638.29 gamecubes
PS3 = 230 GFLOPS / 9.4 = 24.46 Gamecubes
PS4 = 1,840 GFLOPS / 9.4 = 191.49 Gamecubes
PS4 Pro = 4,200 GFLOPS / 9.4 = 446.81 Gamecubes
