- is there japanese audio? JRPG dubs are usually... really not my thing
Only for very early game. Anything else is too disjointed or divorced from context that it won't matter to anyone buying this game for the first time.
Would you say you are Really Feeling It?Yes! And I'm the same, but I think the English voices sound pretty good!

I've never played the game and didn't feel spoiled while watching.
Nope. Maybe 12. Sort ofCurious about this one. Never played the OG and not sure about the gameplay. Can the gameplay be compared to anything else like say FF ?

It's somewhat similar to FF12 from what I've heardCurious about this one. Never played the OG and not sure about the gameplay. Can the gameplay be compared to anything else like say FF ?
I know what time it is.

It gets better from there, the best part of the game is the middle in my opinionPlayed the intro segment up untilon Wii. Blew me away, but never got around to continuing it sadly.Fiora's death
If the game maintains that level of quality until the end, I can't wait.
put it in my veins. Already preordered but a little concerned about a few things:
- is there japanese audio? JRPG dubs are usually... really not my thing
- do we know who composed the new tracks? the original game had Yoko Shimomura as well as ACE+ among others but I don't recall them saying who is making the new soundtrack
The video shows daze though (at 2:35). Was that not in the original?Launching ennemies in Xenoblade 2 and smashing them was so addictive, too bad you can just make them fall (daze) in XC1.

This looks really tempting but I can't bring myself to play 100 hours of this game again. Almost makes me regret to have played it on the Wii already.

it does seem to sound like her, yeah. I never expected for her to reprise the role.
This is a bit of a blink and you'll miss it moment, but if you actually see the footage where the party at Level 40 fights the Level 52 Mechon, all of their attacks are connecting - which may indicate that Monolith Soft removed the accuracy penalties for fighting high-levelled enemies.
Fuuck, doesn't seem like they've touched the side quest system and bloat at all. I guess there's still hope they've made the quests easier to find/track/etc.
This would be a massively welcome change, though.

That bit is already confirmed. You can now mark a quest as active and relevant characters/destination points will appear on the map. An exclamation mark will also be visible (from afar) above the actual character.
It's nothing like FFVIIR's combat though, as it definitely isn't an action RPG (no rolls to avoid attacks, blocking can't be done manually, regular attacks aren't performed automatically, inflicting topple in Xenoblade works quite differently from causing stagger, and unique character abilities are tied to cooldown rather than ATB accumulated allowing use of certain ones more than once). The FFXII comparisons people made are more accurate, though no ability to program party member AI like with that game. It's been awhile since I've played it but the combat isnt that different from FF7 REMAKE from what I remember. Basically your utilizing powers to put enemies into a vulnerable state to really lay down the damage on them.
No it was. It replaces launch and smash.Do you think the fast travel load time was real or just sped up/skipped for the trailer?

There are many more details and a clear map to find NPC now, so it should a LOT less hard to pinpoint all of their locations. Dare I say it should become very easy.Oh, interesting. How about finding new quests? Do I still have to constantly change the time and run around same familiar areas, or have they made QoL changes to that, too? Marking a quest active is a good start, but the problem with the system was never really that.
It's definitely a pleasant surprise. Props to NoE for managing to get her back.it does seem to sound like her, yeah. I never expected for her to reprise the role.
