For me, I don't particularly care about the style. WW2 or not, it's the gameplay that is the important bit and I wished they would remember how to show that off. They did it with BFBC2, BF3 and BF4.Such good trailers. BF5 has been handled terribly. I also cant stand the art style. It just doesnt look like a WWII game.
During E3. Think it was this one they showed during the EA Conference.huh? when was this trailer released? I think I never saw this one.

Rotterdam could be great.
I'm quite disappointed that urban maps are so rare in recent Battlefield games. BF1 had ONE in base game, Amiens. I really hope Rotterdam isn't the only urban map in this...
Amiens is pretty solid but urban maps can devolve into death from 1,000 different angles really quickly if you're not careful, or too many chokepoints. The Russian and French DLC both had awful examples of this, whereas BF3 and BF4 avoided it for the most part. Map balance tended to be really bad in BF1. I imagine a lot of people swore off the franchise due to that game.

WW1 didnt have urban battlefields. Even the Amiens map in Bf1 is pushing it because the Germans never made it to the town.Rotterdam could be great.

Yup.
Whoever headed that marketing campaign was a genius. Whoever is doing BFV is not.
