God damn coming out fast
I have asthma as well but the literal point of the inhaler is to open up your bronchioles. Albuterol will help anyone who is engaged in stressful activity and so it's seen as cheating in fight sports because it means it's increasing your body's ability to recover artificially between rounds.
I also have asthma but the dude is a athlete and has been trained to reduce his asthma attacks. If the fighter needs their inhaler before a round starts then that's a no contest or a dq. You can't do that.
It is quite disheartening to hear the commentary equating asthma to needing more air though.
