Lucky for me I have the Monster hunter amiibos. Now to get the game.

I used my Ryu yesterday and got 9000 BP in Revelations 1 and got about 3000 BP for almost every Animal Crossing Amiibo.

Oh yeah, Mon Amiibo has an article on this. The Capcom amiibo are very OP compared to regular amiibo and amiibo cards.

The Twilight Bow + Infinite Light Arrows in BOTW were locked behind the Super Smash Bros Zelda amiibo if that counts. Hey Pikmin ties 20 or so bonus stages to amiibo, and they are required to 100% the game. IN fact, the game only allows for specific figures to be scanned and not the characters. So you can scan Boo from the Mario series, but not Wedding Peach or Smash Bros Mario.[/QUOTE

Haven't tried it with everything but Gold Megaman usually just scans as Megaman.

It hasn't had any differentiating feature in a game [yet], but it does have a unique RFID, so the possibility is there.

There was an article somewhere that Capcom wanted to make amiibos for Resident Evil. Specifically HULK and Lady HULK, whoever they are. It fell through for some reason, so I can see why they would do this.
