AC Origins takes a giant dump on the previous games and I have no inclination to go back despite how pretty florence, venice and jesper kyd's ac2 soundtrack may be.
They are literally releasing a new updated version of AC3 in a couple months, they've talked about revamping things in it (it's not simply a graphics upgrade or such).
Assassin's Creed 3 is receiving a remaster in March 2019 with overhauled graphics including new lighting system, new crowd system and also unspecified changes to gameplay. It's possible the Switch will get a port of the new version. It's gonna be very interesting to see how the remaster turns out, because I think the last time they genuinely changed a game between re-releases was Rayman 2.
I played the WiiU version and it was an unpleasant experience, I tried to like the game but uneven pop-up, atrocious framerate, and several other bugs really tainted the game for me, if they raise the polishing level and squat those bugs it could be great
I'd love the Ezio trilogy on Switch, I'd definitely buy it even if it's only that.
Played a ton of 4 so I don't think I'd care about replaying that again. I tried to get into Rouge, but it was so similar it was hard for me to play much of it.

Would much rather have ac rogue on my switch, its the only one that didnt release on wiiu after it launched. 3 and black flag both released on wiiu.
But its ubisoft, ofcource theyll take the least requested game and dump it on switch. Knowing ubisoft its probably a direct port on the 360 version.

I think that the date given of Feb 15th is dubious. Ubisoft have said that ACIII remastered releases in March. A physical release ahead of that seems very unlikely. So there's still some time to give this game some kind of announcement and a little bit of a marketing build-up, though I don't think anyone should be expecting marketing to be much different to the level of marketing given to the Ezio trilogy, which was minimal.
It's not called "Assassin's Creed Compilation". You can see what it's (probably) called in the screenshot above.
Getting 3 games for $60 dollar is $20 per game, that is discounted ;-).
I hope they bring the first three games. Not a fan of the latter games.
Well! I'd definitely be interested in picking a set of ACIII + Liberation up, but I'm crossing my fingers that all DLC is included.
We know that the DLC is included in the version of ACIII that comes with the Odyssey season pass, and also that Ubisoft included DLC with the Ezio trilogy, so it's highly likely that the ACIII DLC is included here.
Maybe it happens later. The logic behind these two specific games is probably that Ubisoft wanted to include one or two games with the Odyssey season pass, but almost all the other games were available on PS4/Xbox One already, either with native versions or as part of the Ezio trilogy, so that left ACIII, Liberation, and the original AC. They decided on ACIII and Liberation - that also made a standalone release on PS4 and Xbox One inevitable. The only question then would be whether to port to Switch or not and it seems they've chosen to do that.
If this works out I think we can probably expect ports of the Ezio trilogy and maybe another compilation with Black Flag, Rogue and Freedom Cry.
Thanks god I already get both games with the Season Pass of Odyssey.
Never played AC 3 after the first 30 minutes thanks to the god awful pc port that ubisoft released, gonna give it a second chance now, although I'm already a little burned out with the series after 100 hours of playing Odyssey (and with more episodes of the DLC coming)

Edit: 3+Liberation? Not a combo that springs to mind in any desirable sense. Although at least Aveline is awesome to make up for Connor's... Connorness.
