Going by the text description, I'd guess those stars are actually "Sparks" rather than Luma. I guess Nintendo considered them different enough to be their own thing rather than Mario characters, in spite of them being clearly Luma references.Rabbid Luma is proof that the Paper Mario devs just love how Toads looks and it has nothing to do with a Shadow Mario Standards Committee lurking in the background.
I am now watching..Ubisoft doesnt need Mario + Rabbids to get people to watch their show.
There's less DOF, and the camera is adjustable/lower. That just tells me they're not going for the same quasi-diorama look.
You want a Galaxy 3 from Ubisoft ? Weird.
... Do you really see an abysmal difference between the two?
a developer could easily go from the first to the second in 4 years.
It started with Luigi's Mansion 3 but was especially strong with Monster Hunter Rise.Is every good looking Switch game going to have this "must be on PRO!!!" discourse? Sigh…
yep. people never learn. Is every good looking Switch game going to have this "must be on PRO!!!" discourse? Sigh…
You can tell apart the people that actually own and play lot of higher Switch games compared to the ones that just assume that every game looks like crap on it or is a subpar port.Is every good looking Switch game going to have this "must be on PRO!!!" discourse? Sigh…
What am I missing here? These screenshots run counter to your point imo
I don't even know what to believe anymore. The MGS reference only makes everything more confusing, are you sarcastic or is some sort of elaborate hint? The fact there's not a whiff of mention of the Switch Pro in the leaked announcement tells me all I need to know; the Pro "rumours" were an inside job by Nintendo to flush out people with connections that have leaked Direct content in the past. It doesn't exist.

Not everyone likes AC and Far Cry and more and more people are getting sick of 'Ubisoft-style games'. This news will be all over Twitter, so now people who usually don't really care for their open world sandboxes etc might tune in as well. I know multiple people who don't care for Ubi's stuff at all and weren't planning on watching, but love the first Mario + Rabbids, so who knows. They might tune in now.
it's just how ubi games works. if you have the patience you'll be able to get the game + expansion pass for less than what even the DLC originally cost. don't think i can wait for this tho.Game looks amazing. Like many others, I played the original and it was really great.
Probably not going to buy this on launch tho. Made my mistake with it being one of the first Ubisoft games I purchased and buying it at full price and seeing it drop down to $20 later stung. But really looking forward to this, the pics look amazing.
Bit of an underwhelming announcement, but stoked regardless! Been waiting and hoping for a Mario x Rabbids sequel.
Ubisoft could announce a Tetris port and people would be speculating if it is for Switch Pro.
I can't help it! It looks sharper and has slightly better lighting!
Yeah, I'm expecting a proper announcement during Ubisoft's E3 presentation. It was so close, too! 😅Don't think this was supposed to go up yet so it's not the proper reveal.
