Given the clusterfuck that is the ownership dispute between Acti-Blizz, Squeeenix as the owner of Crystal, and whomever ended up with the assets of the bankrupted Silicon Knights, the only sensible solution is to have someone totally impartial handle the IP, :)

Actually feels possible, the rights are in the hands of old Argonaut CEO rather than buried in the IP vault of a big publisher and he's gone on record saying he's been in touch with people interested in working on a remaster.
