God damn. Never would have thought he would have the body to do it. I get that everyone has the body if they really tried but its also its insanely hard to actually do.

What's the time frame? If he went to not fit to fit in a matter of say months, 100% he's on PEDs. It takes time (LOTS of time) to put on muscle for natural lifters even if they live and breath at the gym. PEDs are also used with weight loss, getting to 5-10% bodyfat and maintaining it is HARD and just borderline impossible for some people.

A person on steroids and no excercise can gain more muscle than a person who goes to the gym but doesn't use any steroids.

People in these threads are really naive, some even still believe Hemsworth body transformation was natural.

True. And what studies there are that evidence that only consider low doses of drugs/hormones. Your average user is taking much MUCH more and in greater variety.

Also an interesting video from Asianboss as to why you shouldn't abuse steroids https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OxMpkvB1KtU

Really annoying that some people are so insecure/cynical that they're drive-by comments are, "oh he must be on drugs."

Like, nah, he was incredibly open in his post how he got those results, and I've seen bigger natural transformations, especially if you already have a little natural "heft" to work with.

It was basically his job to get this fit, and he worked really damn hard to make it a reality. It's weird that people are so quick to undercut someone's hard work, as quickly as they can with zero information. Of course, he had a team of specialists helping him, but that doesn't make his dedication and humility and less noteworthy.

Damn that's impressive. And I love the humility of acknowledging that his results wouldn't be feasible without Hollywood money and resources.
Facts.

I listened to a recent episode of a food podcast he was on (Off Menu with Ed Gamble & James Acaster) and even though he mentioned how he was on a strict diet for his upcoming Marvel role, all I could think of was the little, slightly rounded-features dude from Franklin & Bash. Seeing this picture has floored me somewhat.

Facts.

It's sad, but people who lift are cynical because they have an idea of how just ingrained PED use is. Bodybuilding, powerlifting, crossfit, amateur and pro sports, your average high school football team, practically everyone on social media, etc. And how common it is for those people to lie about taking drugs. And most Hollywood transformations, well, 99% of the time the changes would just be scientifically impossible (or at least improbable) without drugs, especially in the time frames given. And yet actors are somehow the exception to all the rules. I'm not saying that's the case here, but you can understand why people are cautious.

I just don't see what's so impossible? I have friends and even MYSELF, who have gone through radical body changes, naturally, in life. These people don't even have work/school and its all they have to focus on.

It doesn't seem at all like a stretch for someone with time and money to also be able to do it

Actors are often on a time crunch to get fit and well money buys lots of drugs and doctors who'll show you how to maximize their use while minimizing side effects. Most of the people who take PEDs don't do it because they need to, but because it's a massive shortcut.

It's definitely a trend that people don't like to acknowledge the accomplishments of others.

In gaming, someone has to have "no life" to be good, or "born more talented." Here, the only way this is possible is drugs.

No wonder people don't see results.

That said, he already explained his method, which most of you can't afford. Use that as your excuse. No need to jump in with "lul drugs."

Saying 'this was probably done with the help of PED's' is not the same as 'wow that was PED's and required no effort on his part, dude probably sat on the couch eating Krispy Kreme for a year. I will not acknowledge this fakery!'.

You can resume now.

Still a good chance it was helped by drugs. Not even really dissing it. The culture of denying it is shit, but need to get pumped up quickly for a movie that is going to make you millions? Why not?

I wonder how many drugs are involved in these transformstions. Typically you won't get this big in just a year. But if that's all you have to do in a day it might be possible.

It's because history has shown that yes, when people are offered a relatively quick and easy advantage or solution, they take it. Pro sports both physical and mental are rife with drug use. I can almost guarantee even casual game streamers that do shit that "seems" impossible/incredible on a regular basis are on stuff harder than caffeine and doritos. (I.e. adderall)

But you're also right in that there are many people who think it's pointless to try and get in shape because of how prevalent drug use is and how necessary it seems to have to be on something to get results. It's not. But it's exponentially harder, more time-consuming, and more limiting do things natural.
