Then, while filming, he still had a special team for exercise and nutrition... so even when working out and eating to maximum effeciency wasn't his only job to do during the day, he was still doing more than most people can to work on the physique.

So nah, he didn't need PEDs for this. This is the result of having the time and a financial backing to make the final result the top 1, 2, 3 priority in his life. He deserves the credit for his part of it and he's very upfront about the other factors involved that allowed for his dedication to pay off.
