I mean shit you pay for your impatience if you play it on PS4 despite having a PC. Otherwise they announced the PC version before the PS4 version came out.
Also PCs are more expensive than PS4s. Of course the product will be better if the hardware that runs it is more epxensive and powerful lol. What a weird thing to say when the PC version was announced before PS4 version release and the superiority of PC versions with more features (if you have the rig) are a well known fact.
He's not referring to framerate. He's referring to Aspect Ratio and how TV shows are pretty much always 16:9 while movies are often 21:9.Wouldn't it be the other way around? PC is TV drama with 60fps+ while Console is more cinematic with 30fps HDR on a big TV.
For sure, but i mean in general terms, the typical case is monitor vs TV.You can use a PC to play Death Stranding in Ultrawide with a theatre quality projector or a big TV so no. And if you wanted, you could also cap your fps to 30.
why does he sound so bitter that Kojima Pro claiming the PC version is much better? Its always been the case all along for nearly every games
there's that clickbait title at work, he was referring to aspect ratioThis is a weird thing to say
TV shows are shot incredible well nowadays.
He is thinking old school TV?
Yeah it's still a very badly paced game with an appalling end sequence.
So it's like watching a flawed movie rather than a flawed TV show
(Also bit weird of him to slag off the PS4 as Sony paid for this )
Read the article.Yeah it's still a very badly paced game with an appalling end sequence.

It's a comparison of aspect ratios not quality, its not slagging anything off.
Ultra wide on the OLED.Hmmm... I have a high end ultrawide, but I think I'd still rather play this on the OLED.
I don't think it's so much that the pc version is better. No one wants to feel like they got a bad version of the game which is how that quote kind of comes off as.But when has the PC version not been superior to the console version?
I mean it's happened, but the couple fo times have gone down as notorious ports.
Why shouldn't he beam about the game hitting the strengths of that platform. If it came out on the switch, he shouldn't say anything about the portability, because it might hurt the feelings of some console fanboys?
Makes no sense.
Kojima Production's OG vision of the game was 60 fps according to the dev team, and the PS4 and PS4Pro could not deliver that. It says that in the article if you read it.Between this and Eurogamer's "How Death Stranding PC delivers on Kojima Productions' original vision", the press are really outdoing themselves on the hyperbole.
It's a smoother framerate and a slightly wider aspect ratio. It's still the same game. The experience was most certainly not dependent on the game's image quality.
It's still a messy Indulgent vanity project though right? I mean aspect ratio doesn't change that I'd imagine?Kojima Production's OG vision of the game was 60 fps according to the dev team, and the PS4 and PS4Pro could not deliver that. It says that in the article if you read it.
