That's insane. Horizon was 7.6m at the end of Feb 2018, but it took the game 3 months to sell 3.4m.
For further reference, Breath of the Wild, which is on track to be the best selling Zelda game of all time (if it isn't already by now), shipped 4.7m copies in 4 months.

God of war has a clear run way outside of Detroit to continue selling really well till Spider-Man in September.
It's a fucking phenomenal game, with word of mouth this will sell really, really well for a while.

In it's defense it was on a combined (I'm assuming that was for the Wii U + Switch version) userbase of < 20 million

Maybe, but with the success Sony AAA games have been having this generation, who knows.
