I'm not sure why people are guessing. He literally says in the interview he was shown some demos, that's it. No need for speculation that he was handed a controller or whatever.
No hype threads, but critical ones have been usually fine.

Even on forums having "played" the game means many different things. Crit path? 100%? Couple of hours to understand the core loop etc etc
I just can't believe CD Projekt Red would just go out there and publicly lie like that. Just cannot believe they would lie, publicly, about something that did not occur. I just hope they never lie, in public, about features one of their games will have, only to not have a large number of those features, and fundamentally misrepresent the scope or implementation of other features.
I can't imagine how little they could be trusted if they just lied about things in their games that weren't there. It would be a bigger betrayal of trust than lying about Keanu playing their game.

Reminds me of that one thread we had awhile back that had a bunch of people saying "You can't lie to investors, it's illegal!" Companies totally can. They totally do.
