This is pathetic.
Also a Cartoon is better DC content than anything he'll ever make
I do not appreciate talking smack about the Justice League cartoon, which rules.
It also tackles more mature themes with a lot more grace than Snyder has ever done in his films.
The ultimate cut is a lot better.
The final act is god awful in both.
And there is one very cringe scene during the fight.
But ultimate cut is pretty alright otherwise.
Theatrical cut is a huge mess.
Zack Snyder, the intellectual filmmaker.
Whedon reshot most of the movie.
He's absolutely the kind of movie guy that totally thinks Boondock Saints is one of the best films ever even after high school.
I beginning of the movie will probably say 'dedicated to autumn snyder' and its gonna break me.

Awful action, under developed characters, god awful cgi and mustache gate, on top of the worst villain ever.
These are different in this version so we'll see.
Scott in his review for JL compared the film to B:TAS and the Justice League cartoon, especially the first season.
I doubt Zack even read his review he probably heard second hand and got all pissy.
I dont think he even cares about reviews. Im pretty sure he just doesn't like Mendelson. He snapped back at some false info that Mendelson tweeted out before.
Really uncool for a professional to comment on a leaked trailer before Snyder's panel. Snyder's "grownups" bit is small compared to the grievance done here.

I hope they keep it. I hate it when home releases get cut down to 16:9 or 2.35. So much visual information lost compared to the theatre.

No it's not. No professional would care about arbitrary promotional release schedules for a trailer being slightly broken. That shit is just part of the money-making plan, why should it determine when a journalist covers footage that is out there.

I think the third act will be the most different in style, tone and action.
The man knows how to cut trailers. Will be interesting to see if there is enough new material to actually, fundamentally change the underlying problems of JL.
