10/10I saw Joel Michael Singer at a grocery store in Los Angeles once. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn't want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, "Oh, like you're doing now?"
I was taken aback, and all I could say was "Huh?" but he kept cutting me off and going "huh? huh? huh?" and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like "Sir, you need to pay for those first." At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually "to prevent any electrical infetterence," and then turned around and winked at me. I don't even think that's a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
The point is to repeat his name so it's always associated with posts like this and the videos, you know the opposite of what he's trying to achieve. He's not a celebrity, his dad runs a restaurant chain or something? and the money went to his head.
When I first heard what Joel Michael Singer had done I was surprised because it didn't seem like the kind of thing that a Joel Michael Singer would do, but the more I looked into Joel Michael Singer, learning all I can about Joel Michael Singer, it has become clear Joel Michael Singer is exactly the kind of person to do the reprehensible things that Joel Michael Singer has done. You might say that Joel Michael Singer has done a very Joel Michael Singer thing.
And looking at the link, this is some random 20 second fight that occurred like almost a year ago?
Dude is an asshole, I guess.
This thread's attempts to make "Joel Michael Singer" a meme is "nope, chuck testa" levels of forced.
He's so informative as well! It's nice of him to tell Joel Michael Singer that he's done, in case Joel Michael Singer missed that. Things could have gotten really awkward! The guy holding Joel Michael Singer in a chokehold is a boss who looks like he's done this before.
I mean, probably not? If we go by the details in the thread he was basically born into wealth. He could just move, change his name etc for the equivalent of his high school pocket change. However, much like the stupidity he displayed in the video, he seems a little too stupid to work out that these were options and spent a year fighting the Internet instead
Narrator: It wasn't.
The guy holding Joel Michael Singer in a chokehold is a boss who looks like he's done this before.
bunch of people jeering and hollering who have no association at all to the situation, just let the perp pay his debt to society via the law and be done with it. this level of vitriolic public shaming of a private individual is regressive. Not that I am trying to defend this prick... but when the eventual shortfalls of a doxxing campaign happen (death threats, mistaken identity because someone has the same name, etc) does resetera want to be associated with it? Many of these posts using his full name are being deleted by reddit moderators for a reason.
Resetera is not a video host and is not hosting any videos to be taken down. No users are even providing their own personally hosted links. Just linking to another platform: Youtube. Any complaints would have to be directed to their platform.Idk....if JMS is filing suits for take down videos, why you bringing that drama to resetera admins to deal with?
Ironically in early March I saw some dude walk up to a grocery store worker on break outside the entrance and try to pick a fight with him completely unprovoked. Me and another guy walking into the store basically made eye contact like "is this guy serious and are we about to have to jump in here?" We both stood there for an extra 15 seconds before entering the store after the worker decided to walk inside and call for security.
