akin to Xenoblade DE
absolutelyThey're going to charge $60 for this, aren't they?
I want to play it but ugh.
Gonna be 15 bucks like all Nintendo first party releases.
Don't forget the new Fire Emblem that they're sitting on as well...As expected. Bayonetta, Pokemon, Metroid, and Mario & Rabbids is a pretty packed fall lineup
Pokemon Gen 9 is the big holiday game, and will sell more then literally whatever dream announcement you think Nintendo should being announcing for an October-December release window.a remaster as a big holiday game sounds kinda underwhelming....
On one hand, I'm so beyond tired of the "we're proud to announce a game that came out over a decade ago!" thing from Nintendo.
On the other hand, I never played this one.
On the third hand, I had never played Skyward Sword before buying it and... that purchase was a mistake lol.
On the fourth hand, whatever I dunno I'm weak I'll probably try it.
It's a classic critically acclaimed game that was previously locked to:a remaster as a big holiday game sounds kinda underwhelming....
That's really far away. I almost can't believe Metroid Prime 4 would be that far off.Since Jeff has been on a roll lately, he's also stated that he expects Metroid Prime 4 in 2025 and no new hardware from Nintendo until 2024+
I don't believe he has ever given a date like this before.Ah yes the regular yearly claim that this is coming out. Eventually Grubb is going to be right

I think it's cool for people who haven't played the game - but maybe a more consumer oriented BC XBox-like approach would be better. You know, actually not having to buy your games again. However, I'll certainly get these reworded MP games - I had lots issue with the original gameplay, both on GC and WiiOn one hand, I'm so beyond tired of the "we're proud to announce a game that came out over a decade ago!" thing from Nintendo.

That's what prior reports said.
Even though Nintendo doesn't have full control over Pokémon, they probably don't want to have another huge game be completely cannibalized by Pokémon.A remaster as a holiday-bet seems a bit cheap. We sure this isn't a remake?
According to Jeff that is exactly what it isWasn't this supposed to be a full on remake from ground up like TLOU part 1?

The Sony one is a full remake and I'm pretty sure Sony's "big holiday game" will be God of War: Ragnarok.
Nope, there's been a trilogy rumour for a few years now, endorsed by every 'insider' under the sun. Think Starfox Racing from a few years back, where everyone was claiming they'd heard it from their sources.
Guarantee you're gonna see a lot of "MP1 Re(whatever) is more impressive because it's a bigger leap then TLoU Part 1" when we finally see this re(whatever) ends up being called.Announce it already. More Metroid is always good.
