Two years ago,
Lamp In Terren's vocalist Matsumoto and the band's manager were in Paris while the band was on a short break.
Some of you may remember (I think I talked about it in the Discord) that I jokingly sent a tweet to Matsumoto asking if they wanted to have a drink. A few minutes later he sent me a DM saying "Yeah, sure!".
We had a great time, I talked about my love for Japanese music, and how working in the industry has always been on my mind. We've been on good terms ever since, talking on LINE every now and then, yadda yadda. Nothing crazy but still, I knew people in the industry lol
New development : the manager sent me a message yesterday, basically asking me if I was still interested in working with a Japanese label. She said that online interviews now being pretty common (due to the virus) has eased up the hiring process if you're not in Japan, before adding "I can't promise anything, but there could be something for you. We'll be in touch.".
So huh, it's waaaaaay too early to get excited but you never know what this could lead to... lol
