I had to do the same thing, I didn't get a prompt.Really? I had to unpair/reset/re-pair... or maybe I just thought I did?

I uhh.. I just bought the fancy one.
Ha! Been there, man.
While my battery would drain faster at colder temperatures, I can honestly say that this wasn't a problem for me on an iPhone 3GS, 4, 4S, or 5. Since my city is below 0C for most of the year on average, this is a pretty substantial problem for me.
I mean Apple does state that the X isn't expected to operate below 0°C (32° F) and this seems to be the norm for most phones as well as the S8: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00076952/

I'm hoping that it's something goofy and fixable in software, but right now I'm just glad I have AppleCare!
I had intended to have been caseless since I got it but its actually hard to hold without one.
I actually noticed a tiny spec of dust both in my front camera and the back camera. I'm just going to live with it as I don't want to go through the ordeal of trying to get a perfect unit I'm just glad the screen is fine. The dust doesn't show up on photos eitherI had intended to have been caseless since I got it but its actually hard to hold without one.
I did end up getting my replacement today (had some dust under the camera lens), which was significantly sooner than I was told yesterday. Been the roughest new phone experience I've ever had.
I saw a guy on Macrumors said two of the replacements he got had the dust too. I find this very distressing for an allegedly dust proof phone.I did a quick search on Twitter and it seems like dust in the back lenses is more common than you'd think
yeah you see that's exactly what I don't wanna do, go through multiple units trying to get a perfect one. If it gets worse over time I'll switch it out perhaps when stock is better too but in a week I'll completely forgetIf you've got dust take that back. It could easily move over time. Mine hadn't showed on the actual photos but it was big and glaring. If you've got that go get it fixed.

I am in the same boat... that feeling is never going to go away. Wait until you get to an app that doesn't have X support.he X really feels like an iPhone 7 or 8 to me... the longer and skinnier screen is nice but it feels so small compared to my 6S+... I am not liking yet, the form factor feels really to small to me.
Are apple leather cases worth it? They look nice but are $75 here in Australia
I had one on my 7+ and it was ok. I made the mistake of setting it down where I placed my drink and there were lots of water bumps on it. Totally my fault but I wasn't a fan of thatAre apple leather cases worth it? They look nice but are $75 here in Australia!
How do you deal with all the pocket lint on the silicone cases? Is there something you do to lessen it/eliminate it?I had a really good experience with the silicon apple case on my 6+. over 3 years I used two cases, green and red. Very grippy and comfortable. The leather ones seem a bit too precious.
And as a Modern Buckle user I might have a bad opinion on Apple Leather.
Hmm, I have to be honest not once was that an issue for me. Its not tacky at all.How do you deal with all the pocket lint on the silicone cases? Is there something you do to lessen it/eliminate it?
It seems like I try one every year hoping for a different experience, but they all get covered in lint or other debris no matter what.
My wife had a similar experience since she kept her phone in her purse. I put my phone in my bag during the workday and it's generally OK, but all other times it has to go in my pocket which yields unsightly pocket lint galore. I'm not the type of person who can ignore it, either. :^\Hmm, I have to be honest not once was that an issue for me. Its not tacky at all.
I didn't pocket my phone, I kept it in my bag. But that phone saw every permutation of use over the three years I had it and not once did I find the silicon case to be tacky.

I had this issue. I just unpaired it and repaired it and that fixed it.
Glad I'm not the only one. It's finer lint, like fabric particles. Frankly, bigger pieces wouldn't bother me as much since they'd be easier to remove.Man! Weird/Gross!
Is it like big lint pieces or a fuzz texture? Lint is one of my most hated things. Blech.

Funny, before reading any of these comments, I noticed a serious issue texting in the cold yesterday. Was waiting in line for my rental car in Philly, and it was cold - but not freezing - maybe low 40s Fahrenheit? Anyway, typing was basically impossible. That said, almost the moment I stepped inside, everything instantly statrted working again.
I've gone down the animoji rabbit hole...
"Y'all got any more animojis I can use"
My phone comes in today. I have apple care+ purchased but I'm hearing that the cost to repair is ridiculous. Can I reamoce Apple care before I activate my phone?
